I'd make something that she used to make when you were a kid -- something that you thought was really special and great. This will show her that you care for her and appreciate the special things she did for you. It will also show her that what she did mattered to you.

Don't worry too much -- she'll probably just appreciate having a meal made and served for her.

Whatever her favorite meal you cook for her is. Ask her what she would like you to cook and make it for her. The thought will probably make her feel good and she can give you advice on how to prepare the meal.

Depends on how good of a cook you are. If you aren't that good, try something in the slowcooker, throw all the ingredients together and turn it on and there ya go!

I would make her favorite recipe. My Mom loves meatloaf and in particular, mine. She always comes over for dinner when I make it.
