I believe in that era there were a lot of stew type foods. One good one would have been Casoluet. I'm not sure of the spelling but this was a meal that had pork and lamb, carrots, white beans,onions and I think the herb was thyme.I'll have to look it up to tell you if I missed any ingredients.

It would have depended on who you were. If you were rich you probably drank alot of wine and ate rich foods such as escargot

That's when napoleon invented the 'canned food' thing. I think they ate rats and whatever else they could find. cow turds, mostly.
