I've got an 8-qt pot and a question on corn. How long do I boil corn if I put a bunch in the pot? If I did one or two I would boil it for about 5 - 8 minutes. How much longer do I boil it if I put in 6 or 8? I know trial and error would work here, but this is cheaper.
Any suggestions?
Thanks.
PS. Can corn be steamed? How long?

When I was young my mom would make homemade ice cream, it tasted just like the store, we would all take turns turning and turning the handle of the churn, but to this day I have never tasted homemade icecream that thick and good. I don't want recipes that are mushy

We just got a crockpot and I would like some dinner ideas. It is a 3.5 quart one. I need something quick that I can toss together before work and let cook all day (while my fiance is at home). We don't have a lot of money so cheap is good. Also I would PREFER it to be healthy.

We love meat! :-) A helpful tip! :-)

Thanks,
Belinda

Is it okay to date a woman who can't cook? Would you marry a woman who doesn't cook? On a scale of one to ten, how important is it that your woman know how to cook a good meal?

It is for a 3 year old boy's B-day party coming soon. We've looked on Ebay and only found trucks, cars, or Firetrucks. Cool, but not a Monster Truck. No luck at WalMart or a couple of other stores but don't know where else to look. Can anybody help? Maybe an online store you know of? Any links? Anything?

I am looking at recipes and most of them say to use "cooked Japanese rice" I was wondering where do you buy Japanese rice and does it really have to be Japanese??? Very confusing.

I was told to put the fatty liquid that came from a salmon baked onto my vegetables to give it a better taste. Is this good for you?
