Can I put coffee mugs in the oven or will they crack?

I don't have any deep ramekins and was wondering if I could use mugs instead :)

microwave safe ones - typically thicker ones can be used in the oven.

a coffee mug would work well when retrieving from the oven.

They will probably crack but if your willing to risk it I would try
