Slow Cooker Vegetable Minestrone

4cups vegetable or chicken broth
4cups tomato juice
1tablespoon dried basil leaves
1teaspoon salt
1/2teaspoon dried oregano leaves
1/4teaspoon pepper
2medium carrots, sliced (1 cup)
2medium celery stalks, chopped (1 cup)
1medium onion, chopped (1/2 cup)
1cup sliced fresh mushrooms (3 ounces)
2garlic cloves, finely chopped
1can (28 ounces) Progresso® diced tomatoes, undrained
1 1/2cups uncooked rotini pasta (4 1/2 ounces)
Shredded Parmesan cheese, if desired
1.Mix all ingredients except pasta and cheese in 4- to 5-quart slow cooker.
2.Cover and cook on low heat setting 7 to 8 hours or until vegetables are tender.
3.Stir in pasta. Cover and cook on high heat setting 15 to 20 minutes or until pasta is tender. Sprinkle each serving with cheese.
Note: This recipe was tested in slow cookers with heating elements in the side and bottom of the cooker, not in cookers that stand only on a heated base. For slow cookers with just a heated base, follow the manufacturer’s directions for layering ingredients and choosing a temperature.

Savory Meat Loaf

Makes:Makes 6 servings
1 1/2pounds lean ground beef
1cup milk
1tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1teaspoon chopped fresh sage leaves or 1/4 teaspoon dried sage leaves
1/2teaspoon salt
1/2teaspoon ground mustard
1/4teaspoon pepper
1garlic clove, finely chopped or 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
1egg
3slices bread, torn into small pieces
1small onion, chopped (1/4 cup)
1/2cup ketchup, chili sauce or barbecue sauce
1.Heat oven to 350°F.
2.Mix all ingredients except ketchup. Spread mixture in ungreased loaf pan, 8 1/2x4 1/2x2 1/2 or 9x5x3 inches, or shape into 9x5-inch loaf in ungreased rectangular pan, 13x9x2 inches. Spread ketchup over top.
3.Insert meat thermometer so tip is in center of loaf. Bake uncovered 1 hour to 1 hour 15 minutes or until thermometer reads 160°F.

Coffee-Toffee Cake with Caramel Frosting
Prep Time:15 min
Start to Finish:2 hr
Makes:15 servings
1/4cup instant coffee granules or crystals
1/4cup boiling water
1box Betty Crocker® SuperMoist® white cake mix
1cup water
1/3cup vegetable oil
3eggs
1container (1 lb) Betty Crocker® Rich & Creamy vanilla frosting
1/4cup caramel topping
3bars (1.4 oz each) chocolate-covered English toffee candy, coarsely chopped
1.Heat oven to 350°F (325°F for dark or nonstick pan). Grease bottom and sides of 13x9-inch pan with shortening or cooking spray. In small bowl, dissolve coffee granules in boiling water.
2.In large bowl, beat cake mix, 1 cup water, the oil, eggs and coffee mixture with electric mixer on low speed 30 seconds. Beat on medium speed 2 minutes, scraping bowl occasionally (batter will be lumpy). Pour into pan.
3.Bake as directed on box for 13x9-inch pan. Cool completely, about 1 hour.
4.In medium bowl, mix frosting and caramel topping. Frost cake with frosting mixture. Sprinkle with toffee candy. Store loosely covered at room temperature.
High Altitude (3500-6500 ft): Bake 33 to 38 minutes.
Candy Corn Cookies (Cookie Mix)
Prep Time:1 hr
Start to Finish:2 hr 30 min
Makes:About 9 1/2 dozen cookies
1pouch (1 lb 1.5 oz) Betty Crocker® sugar cookie mix
1/3cup butter or margarine, melted
1egg
Orange paste food color
2oz semisweet chocolate, melted, cooled
1.Line 8x4-inch loaf pan with waxed paper, extending paper over sides of pan. In medium bowl, stir cookie mix, butter and egg until soft dough forms.
2.On work surface, place 3/4 cup dough. Knead desired amount of food color into dough until color is uniform. Press dough evenly in bottom of pan.
3.Divide remaining dough in half. Gently press one half of remaining dough into pan on top of orange dough. On work surface, knead chocolate into remaining dough until color is uniform. Press over plain dough in pan, pressing gently to edge of pan. Refrigerate 1 1/2 to 2 hours or until firm.
4.Heat oven to 375°F. Remove dough from pan. Cut crosswise into 1/4-inch-thick slices. Cut each slice into 5 wedges. On ungreased cookie sheet, place wedges 1 inch apart.
5.Bake 7 to 9 minutes or until cookies are set and edges are very light golden brown. Cool 1 minute; remove from cookie sheet. Cool completely. Store in tightly covered container.
High Altitude (3500-6500 ft): No change.

My potato bake recipe, there is something I put in that makes human beings rave.....and that i'm not saying what the key is. I actually have a curry recipe and a hen pie recipe this is barely mine and of direction my mothers.

mashed potatoes with grounded green peas,carrot,butter and salt.Make into small patty and grill it till its crispy & golden brown on the outside... top it up with some medium rare lamb slices.Yummy!
