I have looked up the recipe to beshbarmak and it says 'add any spices'. A young Kyrgyzs that I know is staying in London studying and is really missing his home. As we are having a bbq on Sunday and he is coming along, I thought it would be nice to cook him something from 'home'. However, all recipes say, add 'any' spices. It would be good to know, traditionally what is added so that he gets a taste of 'home'.

Thanks.

I've been through 3 kettles in a year. They were all the cheap kind... round about $20, since I didnt feel like researching kettles before i buy them... just pick it up off the shelf next to the coffee.

What is the best kettle I can possibly buy? I drink a lot of coffee if you're wondering... :P

Please could I have the basic recipe for rout, the ones that hindi people make when having Khatha & Junda prayer. It's round, brown, fried and taste like a biscuit. I am not talking about roti.

I'm making a crust for a tart and the recipe says to blend the ingredients in a food processor. I don't wanna spend the 100 dollars for a good one right now and I refuse to buy a cheap one.

I've heard you can wash the nutrients of things like broccili or rice. Since you are boiling or steaming, do you really need to wash?

The ones that come in stand up packages. Like a mini-candy bar that doesn't need to be baked. Comes in caramel fudge or cookie. I can't find it anywhere.
