fromage frais: it's Danish

Okay, I can cook breakfast and lunch, and bake desserts like there is no tomorrow. BUT I can't prepare a decent dinner to save my life!

I always seem to overcook meat, and it dries out, and it is just awful! I just want to cry, and scream, and break everything in the kitchen when I'm trying to cook dinner.

I think maybe it's because I'm paranoid about not cooking the meat enough, and causing someone to get food poisoning or e-coli or some crap like that.

Sooo please, PLEASE help me find a book, website, or anything that can help me to cook some tasty, and most important of all... EDIBLE ribs, chops, and drumsticks for my hubby.

Thanks a million (in advance)!

I am a non-experienced 20 year old cook, and I was asked to cook dinner tonight for my boyfriend, I don't have much money ($20) and I don't know what I should make.

My boyfriend is a 'Meat and Potatoes' kind of guy- He IS SO PICKY, so of course this makes it harder for me to cook.

If you have ANY ADIVCE, OR RECIEPES that I could try (around the meat and potatoes concept) and how much time it takes to make, you would be literally saving me from a disaster waiting to happen. I have 6 and 1/2 hours until the dead line (8:00 p.m Central).

Thank you.

I had a bowl of Mexican Corn Chowder at the Dodo Restaurant in SLC. I asked for the recipe because it was so good I had to know. But the chef was not willing to give me the recipe. SO, I am interested in a Mexican Corn Chowder recipe that consists of fresh corn & pepperjack cheese. I have made my own but its just not close as I am not a Chowder-pro.

Thank you for your recipes and suggestions.

My mother in law gave me a package of country sausage it's weight is about 1 3/4 lbs. I just wondered if anyone had any good recipes for a sauce I could put on it or how to give it some more flavor or anything. I've never had it before and when she told me to cook it she said just put it in a skillet with some water and keep goin till it gets brown.

I could eat Saag Paneer every single day and not tire of it. I'd like to try cooking at home but the recipes I have found call for ingredients I cannot locate. Any suggestions will be deeply appreciated.
