yes, but also adding some brown sugar and syrup is good. It makes it sweet

Oh my. Had a friend say to me one time when I was fixing steak and asked if he liked onions on them: "EVERYTHING tastes better with onions." Probably a little hype there but, yup the chicken will taste better.
