Is there something to ad to soup when you freeze it , so that the potatos don't get a funny taste

Leave the potatoes out and add them when you reheat the soup. It also helps the taste if you pour the soup into a freezer bag and remove ALL of the air from it before you put it in the freezer. The taste stays much fresher than in tupperware.

Just sift out the potatoes and keep the soup. Then place the soup in a freeze container. Discard the potatoes.

no matter what you do the potatoes will taste funny so take them out and freeze them with out them in a zip lock bag and them enjoy them two or three days later i think they taste better when they stay in the freezer for a couple of days.

the potatoes are gonna taste nasy either way if you freeze them.
Just freeze the broth and when ya get it out just add a can of potatoes before eating.....
