I am getting married on Friday. My buddies all came to town this week, and, last night, we decided to do the Bachelor Party a little early. So we go out to the clubs and I think I over indulged. Anyhow, I wake up this morning in a Motel 6 hotel with a sheep in my room. Should I be worried? Could I have caught a disease? The sheep pooped everywhere and I had to pick it up with my fingers. What do I do with this sheep? Help Me!

Does anyone think the song 100 years by Five for Fighting would be a bad song for this kind of dance at a reception? Any suggestions please (other than Rap and R&B please)

links to pics or a very descriptive idea would be great.
my girlfriend, while likeing my hair, i KNOW would like it short or at least shorter. she would NEVER tell me to do it but.......................................
i also have yet to meet her parents which im guessing would make it a little smoother as she AND ESPECIALLY them are a bit conservative.
thanks

I have booked my photographer fo my wedding.. and he is very creative and easy going. basically he will shoot whatever i want and i know he does all the traditional poses as well. There was a suggestion made to make a list of all the photos i want so we dont forget anything.... just wondering if there were any good sites i could look at and get ideas for some fun poses for the bridal party and for me and my hubby to be... we are fun loving and silly and want a few pics of us that show that off.

Another poster sparked this question that I had forgotten about.

I went to a wedding where they did the "kidnapping" the bride and demanding a certain amount of ransom before she was released. Anyway, when the bestman ran in the reception all dramatic and told us this I was pretty much offended and refused to pay. So were some other people. He thought we were kidding and two hours later a super ticked off bride came through the door demanding to know why we had refused to pay her "ransom".

I know historically back in Braveheart times this was actually a concern but is it really a tradition now to recreate that in some cultures like a money dance? In my mind it was just the bride and groom trying to be cute and milk us for more money...did I miss something?

OK, I vented before about the matching shoes...which I think is dumb!! My friend wants us to get matching shoes for a dress that you can't even see the shoes in. I think I am going to tell her these are the shoes I want her to buy for my wedding!!!

I want to know if anyone knows where I could purchase or rent lighting for my wedding. I want the floor lighting the gives a color uplight to wash the walls with color. I hear it is inexpensive and it can be a DIY, so that you can cut the cost of hiring a lighting company.

What time of year did you have your wedding? I was thinking about April (spring) or October (fall) for my wedding but now I have started thinking about maybe Mid November. I love Christmas and I think all of the lights and Christmas decorations would be beautiful. Do you think it is bad to do it in November with all of the holiday stuff going on? also, what about January? Could you still have a Christmas-sy theme then? I live in Georgia. I just can't decide whether to have a nice outdoor wedding in the spring or fall, or to have a "white" christmas wedding in the winter.....

Does anyone have any ideas on different things to do at a wedding reception?

We are having a dinner after the wedding at a nice elegant resturant for about 30 guess. But I would like to decorate the table alittle more but what things could I do to make it a little more nice. My colors are lavendar and white. I already bought some lavendar colored candles with clear glass candle holder and I was going to be a white ribbon around the glass and light them and put then out the on the table. The table will be in a "U" shape. I will also have the favor out on the table in front of each chair. What else could I do? The cake will be off to the side on a round table, what could I do with that? Any ideas that are too expensive.

I included a web address on the invitations that said for more info please see the web address

The web site has links to our registry, our story, pictures and wedding details.
Is it still coming off like we are asking for gifts or is it just getting the info out to the people who would ask anyway?

The top of the registry page on the site says

More then any gift we want you to share in the celebration of our love and commitment.
However we would get calls if we didn’t register so here’s our list.

Is there a way to better word it.

I'll be getting married within 2 weeks and we don't have the money to purchase traditional wedding rings. What is something else that we can exchange that's unique?
