Where can I find a good deal on tuxedos for my wedding? I'm in the Lansing, MI area. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

i heard that it's best to marry a guy first before moving in with him because it will ruin the "bliss" and getting married will become less of a priority because you see each other everyday. i agree with this but want to know other peoples opinions.

I'm letting my bridesmaids pick their own dresses and shoes. I gave them a sample of the shade of green we're using, and asked them to pick out what they liked. I wanted to be sure they'd get something they were comfortable in, and something they can use again (that they acutally like). I've gotten a lot of static from family about this....what do you think?

My bestfriends wedding was supposed to be in less than two weeks. However after multiple attempts, they've decided to call it quits. I was asked to help her make the dreaded phone calls. Any ideas on what to say, she's really upset, and is not looking forward to having to call her and his familys!

Getting married abroad on a beach so we know the colours we want are; white, silver & duck egg blue...

I'm confused over where to add the colours...

I'm having a white dress, do i go for a blue tiara, blue in the flowers, blue waistcoats’ for the men, blue rose petal confetti etc etc.. I just can't visualise where to use the colours within the wedding without it looking OTT and it looking a bit silly...

Any tips or comments on how you used your colour scheme would be great!! x

Here's the deal. My "best friend" of ten years married my ex. And didn't even so much as tell me, nor hint at a marriage. She even hid the fact that they started dating from me for three days, until I "provoked" her. I'm hurt, not because she's married to him but because she didn't even have the decency to tell me. A friendship of ten years should mean something. I would tell her.. she said it was "too weird" but I really just don't care. I'm not weirded out. I'm sad, and I feel betrayed.. so my question is, how would YOU feel? I found out yesterday, they got married the 6th of this month.

I was just informed by my fiance's mother that his father will refuse to wear a tux to our wedding. I don't want to make anyone uncomfortable so I thought perhaps I could just ask him to wear khakis and a blue plaid shirt (since our colors are blue and white). I think if I do this, my dad should also wear something similar so photos will look better. Also I could have the ringbearer (my little brother) wear the same thing. I thought of putting the groomsmen in that too, but I think tuxs would be better for them. My wedding will be pretty casual anyway, so do you think this would look okay? Just the groom and groomsmen in tuxs? Also, should I ask my mother and his to pick a similar dress or at least the same color? Another question: My dad is bald and looks bad without a hat... however I'm getting married in a church so he can't really wear one... what would be your suggestions there? Thanks for all opinions

(It's not ironic, it's the pacific nw.) What are some fun things to do with 12 friends at a bed and breakfast for the weekend on the coast? Plans were to do things like sitting around a campfire, outdoor hot tubbing, hanging out on the beach and making noises at the seals, and hiking. It's supposed to rain. I think I need more "indoor" stuff to do now. Any ideas? Should we just go out and play in the rain anyway?

We are having a flute player friend, who will play through the signing of the register. And also, when guests arrive at the reception venue for drinks. Any suggestions to a modern twist if music?

I want to have a "wishing well" at my wedding where we will give the guests small stones so they can stop by and make a wish for us. I want to have a video camera set up so we have a nice record of what everyone says. However I am having trouble finding a poem or a verse that I can use on the programs to let people know we would like them to do this. Any suggestions?

I just recently got engaged! We are both sooo excited, and havnt started the real planning yet but just throwing idea's around. I have an 8mo (future) niece, she is the only little girl on both sides of our family. We are planning an August 2008 wedding , so she will be two years old by then. Has anyone had flower girls this young? I understand she may not do exactly what she's supposed to which is fine, or get down the aisle in a straight line, haha, It's just important to me to include her because she is so special to us, what do you think??

and, if we have a flower girl, must we have a ring bearer? We have a shortage of small children in the family! haha

OK, i am a brides maid in my fiances brothers wedding. She has gotten these ridicoulously ugly dresses (for free) and she expects me to wear it in front of our entire family. To make matters worse, it does not fit properly. The top is like 3 sizes to small, and i am extremely busty. It looks as though i have a tissue box stuffed up top and my breasts are boiling over the top. Not to mention i cannot wear a bra with it. Big no no for me. She had the nerve to ask me if i could just stand to wear it for one night.....and be completely humilaited for the rest of my life due to wedding photos. I just want to cry. She is having her entire wedding payed for, and she cant afford to buy her 2 bridesmaid decent dresses?!@ I offered to pay for mine in full so i dont look horrible. Her sloution is having her grandmother tear the dress apart to try and add panels. It wont work i know. She is in my wedding and i would never do this to her. I just want her to ask someone else. What do i do? *CRYS*
