My husband and I got married in an extremely small ceremony (parents, brothers & sisters). We were going to have an actual wedding this summer to celebrate with family & friends and I bought a gorgeous wedding dress and purchased the bridesmaid dresses for my bridesmaids. The wedding got canceled for various reasons & now I don't know what to do with my dress. I don't really want to sell it on e-bay b/c I'm not a fan of e-bay. Ideas please?!!!!

I'm getting married in Singapore in Jul.. What does my mum need to buy for me? What do we need to prepare? What's the normal number of tables that we should ask for? Can someone tell me the norms for a Chinese Singaporean bride?

I'm heading to BKK soon.. just needed some advice on how the workmanship and quality of work is there... Makeup? Does it make me look like a drama mama? Anything I should look out for?

I found this dress and it's perfect...my only concern is that I dont know if it really says "hello, Im the bride" enough. I know it doesnt have to, but Im not sure that its "wedding-y enough...if you know what I mean. Kind of like a perfect gorgeous evening gown isnt necessarily a perfect wedding gown. Again, as the bride I know I can do what I want and wear what I want...but I just wanted your opinions. Would you think this dress is inappropriate for an outdoor wedding?

Side note: Im getting married outside in June 08. The gown I would buy is a sample (so it's $1450 instead of $3000)...and I have it on hold for the time being...but thats only for a few more weeks, if that.

Does anyone have a simple list?
I want them to be nice but some of the list I have seen are huge with all the stuff to put in them... I just want simple and sweet... not everything and the kitchen sink in there.
What are the "basics" you should have for a bathroom basket?

Me and my fiance are getting married in June. We are going to try to keep things cheap because we don't have a lot of extra money to spare but we would like to do something that looks nice. Does anyone have any ideas on how to cut down on costs?

I would also appreciate a neat idea for my birdesmaids!

Also, When my cousin got married they sent out little cards with their invitations were you put you recipe to a happy marriage on it. I was wondering if anyone had any cute ideas like that. I loved the idea but I don't want to copy what she did

I found out after we put the deposit on our reception site that my husband's sister asked him not to schedule it for that weekend because her 10 year old son usually has a baseball tournament during that week. She's peeved. He says we shouldn't change it because we don't even know if the tournament will be that week and that a wedding has precedence over baseball. We would also lose the deposit and the venue we chose isn't open any other dates this summer. None of her family is actually in the wedding, but they are all invited

In June we are hosting an outdoor engagement party for our daughter who is marrying a Jewish young man. Are there certain foods we should avoid due to the culture? Suggestions for a safe casual menu?

But they were the ones that owed me an apology because they took advantage of the situation. I passed out first and then threw up. nobody bothered to help me clean up or get me moved somewhere else. Instead while I was passed out, they "got back at me" by smearing wedding cake all over my face, put a microphone up to my mouth so everyone could laugh at how loud I was snoring, and took bubble favors and proceded to blow them in my face in hopes they would land in my mouth. Would you ever do something like that if I was at your wedding? THEY OWED ME AN APOLOGY, NOT THE OTHER WAY AROUND!! Here is some advice for you brides, if you don't want people to act that way, DON'T SERVE ALCOHOL!!!

Etiquette says to not have more than 12 but I honestly could not leave any one of these people out. We are inviting over 500 people also, so I'm hoping since it's so big anyway that people won't think it's crazy to have such a big bridal party. I'm happy about it & everyone that I chose, & It's my wedding right?

Back when my ex-boyfriend and I were still dating, we responded to a wedding invitation, and I was to go as his guest. We recently broke up and I do not know if I am still supposed to go.

I am getting married shortly, and i asked my best friend to be the best man. He agreed and all and everything was good, but then a week later he calls and backs out. The reason he did this is because he's to cheap to rent a tux-even though im was going to pay for a plane ticket for him to come to the wedding (its in another state). I told him i would do this when i asked in the first place. This guy is a teacher, and i dont care what anyone says, teachers make alot of money so he can definetly afford it. I think he also might be jealous, but could i get some reactions as to what you think this?

Here's the deal. I told my ex who
1. Lied to me about being on birth control which got her pregnant (she aborted)
2. I knew since i was like 11 yrs old (Im 21 now)

and my other ex who didnt believe me when this chick i never met who my homeboy was talkin to tried and set me up. I admit it was very clever what she did and made ex #2 break up with me. Well after I told both of them, they both said they wanted to go. We arent friends nor do we talk on the phone. Idk why they wanna come and im concerned it will effect our happiness at the wedding if they attend. Ex #2 isnt sweatin it much but ex #1 is like "But i knew you all my life. its messed up i cant come." i told her id ask my fiancee who also knows what they both did because we are very open. My fiancee doesnt want them to attend. And she is still stressin. I told her it isnt only my wedding and i have to ask. I think i did the right thing here. What do u guys think and can u give any reason y they would wanna go

So my bf asked me to marry him this morning! But, he hasn't got my ring yet, he said his was getting one, but that isn't what matters. The major thing is that he doesn't want me to tell anyone we know about it until he asks my dad. Do you think he is wrong to ask me and not want anyone to know or do you think it is good that he wants me to wait to tell anyone until he asks my dad if it is okay. AND I already know he should have asked my dad first so don't comment on that plz!

My fiance wants to have her brother in our wedding, instead of a matron of honor. She doesn't have a female "best friend" although there would probably be another female or two as her other witnesses. Neither of us are religious, so we are not planning a religious ceremony. I'm just not sure how one would go about this. My witnesses will definitely be males. This could cause some awkwardness. Any ideas for this???

We are about to "name our own price" for 2 round-trip tickets to Kauai on July 8-22 for our honeymoon... :) We are on a tight budget, so we need the cheapest tickets we can find.

I'm a little nervous about Priceline's "naming your own price" deal because we won't know until our offer is accepted and our flight is confirmed which airline we will be flying, what time we will depart and return, or if we will even get to sit together on the plane. I don't know if I want someone else to decide all of that for us, but since that's the only way to get cheap tickets, I guess that's what we'll have to do.

Do you have any experience with Priceline? If so, what was your experience? Is it worth it? Saving the money seems to be worth it, but I want to be confident going in that everything will be okay. Maybe I'm worrying for nothing??

Thank you!
