Wow never even thought about it when i set my date. I just picked a date I liked. Though either way it may make the honeymoon a little more of pain who says you can't have sex while you have your period??? That won't stop me!!

Yep, or more brides schedule their period around the wedding. There would be nothing worse than being all bloated and crabby the day of your wedding...not to mention the whole "honeymoon" being shot to heck!

I would schedule my period around the wedding--alter (or go on) your birth control schedule during the months leading up to the wedding in order to ensure a care-free honeymoon.

Some couples do and some do not, after all, the wedding isnt just about having sex and even though that is the normal thing people are expected to do on a honeymoon, you have the rest of your lives together to have sex.

i don't know.. maybe? i guess it doesn't matter.
1. but of course, since most brides wear white, it's better not to, to avoid red spots. ;)
2. any date would be great, anyway, it's still a special day for the couple!
3. preferrably, the wedding date should be the day where the woman is fertile. so that you'd easily unite those cells on your first love-making! ;) nice honeymoon! ;)

You could do that. I just wouldn't tell people that's why you picked the date and you know people are going to ask you why you choose the date you did. Just know that stress can do weird things to your body and make it come at a different time. FYI to those suggesting to take the pills back to back to avoid a period know that that doesn't work for everyone. I tried it and ended up spotting (sometimes heavy) for longer than a period would have lasted.

I guess you can but it's still hard because it can changes... most people just get an extra pack of birth control just incase and make their period stop until after the honeymoon.

I scheduled my period around my wedding. I often stack packs, meaning skip my placebo week, therefore skipping my period. I just stacked 3 packs until the last couple days of Feburary & had a period then, before my March 17th wedding.

LOL I actually never thought about that.
The only thing would be your period could decide to go out of whack contraceptives or no contraceptives.
I'm just not going to worry about it and hope it doesn't happen on the honeymoon!
