Some members have given quite suitable answers to this very genuine question. Thinking men have always questioned what could be the real purpose of life. In christianity, it is generally believed that the real purpose of life is to surrender it to the Lord and dedicate the same to the service of man kind. A second life is supposed to begin from that moment. Surprisingly, the same concept is followed and accepted by hindu brahmins, when they perform their 'yagnopaweet' or the thread ceremony. From then onwards they are called 'dwij' or having second birth.
If one leaves behind the religious bi-gotry and blind faith of religious beliefs, and delves deeper in to the philosophical aspects of different religions, lot of common grounds are observed.

Born Again Matrimonial

I'm a christian and this is what becoming born again means in our religion. See Catholics have their children baptized after birth. Christians believe that each person should have a choice in what they want to believe. So when a person is ready to accept Jesus Christ as their personal savior they then decide to become baptized and they are "born again". I'm not sure if this is the same for catholicism, I wasn't even aware catholics had born agains, but I CAN tell you that this is the definition of born again for christians. And it's not FINDING Jesus or DISCOVERING him! It simply means that as a Christian we are ready to give up a sinful life of partying, having anonymous sex, using drugs, or abusing someone or hurting people you love. It means that now you are cleansed of your sins and you may now be accepted into God's kingdom when you do....provided you follow his rules. This is NO different than the catholics who are told (or brain-washed as I like to call it) into believing that they will be absolved of their sins if they tell a man in a black robe ALL their sins. Uh-huh yeah sure! Or if they eat a cracker and drink some wine and splash some water in the shape of the crucifix over yourself. Jesus will accept those who worship and believe and follow no matter where you worship him, no matter HOW you worship him! That is what we believe!

FRIEND,

AS FAR AS I KNOW, this term born again is used in a spiritual sense in christian community,

Spiritually reborn or converted.

It is mainly used for those converted into Christianity , as per the dictionary I referred, and it is written there like this

BORN AGAIN= "a born-again Christian"

So probably it may indicate that the person is not by birth a christian but is a convert.

I may be excused if I am wrong.

Born again is a soteriological term used primarily in the Evangelical, Fundamentalist, and Pentecostal branches of Protestant Christianity, but is sometimes associated with non-denominational groups and/or Churches.[1] "Born again" Christianity is associated with salvation, conversion and spiritual rebirth. Outside of the common circles, the term is often applied by extension to other phenomena, including a transcending personal experience – or the experience of being spiritually reborn (as opposed to spiritual birth).

In recent history, born again is a term that has been associated with evangelical renewal since the late 1960s, first in the United States and then later around the world. Associated perhaps initially with Jesus People and the Christian counterculture, born again came to refer to an intense conversion experience, and was increasingly used as a term to identify devout believers. By the mid 1970s, born again Christians were increasingly referred to in the mainstream media as part of the Born Again Movement. A 1976 book of that title by Watergate conspirator and convicted felon Charles Colson, describing his path to faith in conjunction with his criminal imprisonment, played a significant role in solidifying Born Again identity as a cultural construct in the U.S. The term was sufficiently prevalent that, during that year's Presidential campaign, Jimmy Carter described himself as born again, notably in the first Playboy magazine interview of a U.S. Presidential candidate. Modern musicians Mark Farner, Dan Peek, Little Richard, Donna Summer, Bob Dylan, Kerry Livgren, Dave Hope, Dave Mustaine, Nicko McBrain, Roger McGuinn, Johnny Cash, and Alice Cooper were notable artists whose born again conversions were particularly impacting on modern culture. Reborn Christians are also very often referred to as "New Born Christians".

Born Again is a Christian term...they are a Christian.
It basically means that they have given their life to Christ and left their old life (ways) behind and have been "born again" into a new way of living their life in Christ. Trying to do what He wants them to do and live their lives the way He wants them to.
It symbolizes death to ones old sinful ways and rebirth to a new life leaving the sinful things behind.
Hope this helps.

be cool...

Baptized..Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.."Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Do not marvel that I said to you, You must be born again...." (John 3:3-7).says bible
