(It's not ironic, it's the pacific nw.) What are some fun things to do with 12 friends at a bed and breakfast for the weekend on the coast? Plans were to do things like sitting around a campfire, outdoor hot tubbing, hanging out on the beach and making noises at the seals, and hiking. It's supposed to rain. I think I need more "indoor" stuff to do now. Any ideas? Should we just go out and play in the rain anyway?

You could buy everyone a cute umbrella. I wouldn't stay inside the whole time. Rain isn't that bad unless it is chilly. Go for a walk on the beach (as long as there isn't lightening...not trying to insult your intelligence). The campfire probably won't work that well for obvious reasons, but the hot tubbing should be fine. As far as indoor activities go, sit around a fire place with a drink and just catch up or reminisce about old times. You could buy a fun new game, maybe something with trivia. If there is a spa nearby, you could always check it out...you might be able to get some sort of package deal. Good luck!

Do they have an indoor hottub? Personally I'd play in the rain outside anyway. You were planning on watching the seals--why cant you do that in the rain. Besides its the pacific nw--it rains all the time. and then 5 min later it will stop.

Watch movies, go to a museum. When are you getting married? You could get tickets to a indoor sporting event. Seattle has a baseball team--isn't that indoors? If you were thinking of doing something like kayaking, you were planning to get wet anyway--whats it matter if its raining as long as its not freezing.

It rained on my wedding day too--it's a good omen.

Nothing more romantic than yanking your hair in a ponytail so it's doesn't get stringy, buying a nice rain hat and slicker and playing or walking in the rain. I would use it to my advantage to have fun that people will remember. You can play games inside anytime but how often can you go play in the rain with your friends on your wedding day weekend? See if you can get everyone matching rain hats or umbrellas. I think it actually sounds like fun. So go ahead and have fun!!!

Consider indoor excursions to museums, aquariums, the movies, etc.

And always remember that rain on your wedding day is believed to be good luck and to indicate prosperity.

Congratulations!
