I'm wearing a black dress to a friends wedding this Saturday, in the afternoon. What accessories should I add so I don't seem so somber?

My brother and his fiance have registered at three different bridal registries. They are asking for everything from the $600 wine glasses to the $1.99 salad tongs. I think this makes them seem very greedy. When I got married (eloped) he gave me nothing because he says I didn't have the "big wedding". I'm thinking of returning the gesture. What do you think is three a bit much?

I've been voted Bridezilla by my best friends... because I fired them from their postions in the wedding. I have three women that I consider to be my very best friends... and origionally I had asked them to be bridesmaids but every time we all get together, these friends of mine who have absolutely nothing in common with each other except for the friendships they share with me... are always at each others' necks. They bicker about everything and they act ungrateful for anything... I'm just tired and I still have til July 14th to go. So, I fired them from their duties and told them I'd just rather them sit as our guests.

Is this really considered a bridezilla move? Am I asking to much for them to "just try" to get along for this occassion? Am I wrong for asking them to step down... which is the hardest thing I've ever done by the way?... or should I stick to my guns and let them be my friends as our guests. A little help here... please.

bodice and the bottom of the gown. I have scoured the internet looking for pictures of it, but as it's a small company and doesn't do much advertising, I can't seem to find it. I saw the ones on Ebay, but please do not give me links to them. It is not that dress. Sally Crew only does business with small botiques, but her web site is for companies only. Has anyone heard of Sally Crew, or know where I can find a picture of her dresses. They are silk and hand made. Thanks!

My fiancee and I are considering these places for our honeymoon and need to choose one: Washington DC, Salem, MA, and Gatlinburg, TN. The trip will be a weekend visit in May. We're on a budget.

We like being in cities, but I also like the idea of having a cabin with a hot tub and pool table in Gatlinburg. What do you think?

Iam in love with a woman that broke my heart. She acts like she doesnt care about me but when I dont call her or be there when she needs something she flirts her way back and being a idiot I hang on. I thought that if I got her a ring and asked her to marry me and turned me down my stupid heart will let her go and I can move on. So I dont want to spend alot of money on a ring I think she will give right back to me but if she does say yes(I pray) I dont want her to laugh when I tell her I want to get a better one?

My brother is getting married at the end of April and they are having a tulip themed wedding . I’m trying to come up with a cool, inexpensive, but creative way to display the place cards. I thought maybe hang them from a tree and make them tulip in shape or something like that. Any ideas? The bride is hard to please but any suggestions would be appreciated. I thought something with fresh flowers but not have to give each person a flower or a bulb. I thought a tulip bulb would be cool – naturally I was shot down.

I and my finace are going to get married in this May. This is first marriage for both of us. Is there any special issue about the color of a wedding gown that I need to concern? Is ivory an appropriate color for a first marriage couple?
I have tried several gowns: white or ivory. Both of us like an ivory one the best. That is a strapless satin A-line gown featuring a cascading side drape with a flower at waist and a sweep train. The flower and drap are in champagne. We do like the contrast of ivory and champagne. It is very elegant and classy. So, we ordered that gown in ivory although they do have white one available. However, now I am worrying if that color is an appropriate choice since I noticed some people would suggest second marriage brides to wear off white/ivory wedding dress. Could somebody please help me? Thank you so much.

I don't believe in sex about marriage, but I should be getting married soon and I'm really nervous about having sex and think it'll hurt. So I'd like some advice to help me enjoy my first time and for it to not be too painful. I love my bf dearly and this is nothing to do with him and I know he'll do everything to make it special for me and he will be gentle. I just don't want to let him down on our wedding night. But I'm nervous that it'll hurt.

Anybody with any sensible advice, please let me know.

Alright our original wedding date was set for September 29th of this year, I have started to plan things out a bit, but it seems like no matter which way we are going about things something pop's up causing complete and total Chaos. I purchased my dress from a designer and waited 2 months for it and upon receiving it today the dress is NOTHING as I was told it was going to be. My fiance' and I just originally wanted to take a 4 or 5 day vacation to Vegas to have some time to ourselves and just elope and then upon returning home we were going to have a reception. Part of me still wants to do it but another part of me wants the chance to have my dad walk me down the isle but everything is turning into a catastrophe while planning this traditional wedding. UGH I really need opinions on this. As of right now I just want to get married to the man I love and I don't care how we do it. Opinions on both a traditional wedding and also eloping please help

I'm attending a filipino/jewish wedding in the summer and need to know what is the best way to wear the barong. Is it okay to wear light colored pants and light colored shoes since it's a morning wedding? Or should I wear black pants and black shoes. Thanks!
