I'm wearing a black dress to a friends wedding this Saturday, in the afternoon. What accessories should I add so I don't seem so somber?

I think I will go with the silver shoes suggestion, that sounds cool!
Any other accessories that would match or compliment silver? Turquoise maybe?

A pretty floral or lace shawl would be nice. Dress shoes that coordinate with a hat and handbag (but not all matchy-matchy) would be really cute, too. You could also pin a corsage to the front of your dress, or to a cute hat; some even put corsages on their handbags, if they're plain.

Black dress in the afternoon almost spring time? - sounds like a funeral.
It might be ok in the evening but that's pushing it.
You'll have to really add some light colors. Maybe a sash in the color of the wedding around your waist, or a white lacy sweater over your shoulders, or a light flower in your hair.

Gold Jewelry will definitely look good with black. Add a bracelet, earrings and a necklace, and you will look great. If you can find some nice gold strappy sandals, that may work too. Just make sure to look at yourself in the mirror, and make sure your not over doing the gold. Too much gold can be tacky, rather then classy or trendy.

accessories make the outfit! go with some bright shoes or a fun bracelet. just having a hot pink bangle or yellow beaded necklace will stand out against the black and keep you looking fashion forward :)

some red or pink acceseorries would go well.. or if you have brown hair like in your picture ^ then iu think you should wear accessories that are aqua blue coloured.. maybe a simple necklace and some chunky braclets to match??:)
