I'm wondering if there are discount wholesale diamond jewlers that are substantially below what you can get in retail.

to either add obey to his side as well or to cut it out all together. I told him how I felt about this today and he wasn't very happy. His dad is marrying us and my fiance says that if I don't say obey then his dad won't do the ceremony. Am I being out of control? I just don't feel like we should start our marriage out based on a lie. I absolutely think it is wrong for me to say that I will obey him when he doesn't say it back. We're living in 2007...not 1927. What do you think?

My fiance and I wanted a charming, low maintenance Vegas wedding, and booked at the Little Church of the West. I just wanted to know if anyone else has gotten married there, and what their experience was with it. Thanks!

You may have noticed that I submitted the same artical twice... I didn't know how to edit and so consequently, it appears two times but with different question titles. I'm sorry about that.

I used the word "fire" when describing a scenerio for which I've terminated my best friends' role as bride maids. The word was the best to fit for how I see it. As far as how would I like it if something like that had happened to me... well, it has happened once. No, I didn't like it but the friend who had fired me was justified to have done so. I couldn't "get it together".

What does that mean someone asked... "get it together". Have your wits about yourself and some tactfulness... professionalism. Don't misrepresent the bride by misrepresenting yourself. If you aren't a b**ch, don't act like one.

And also the word "use". Meaning that they were available for the occassion... not whatever you had thought I assure you.

I'm sorry not to have explained better, sooner

We are having a wedding at a bed and breakfast, and we got a quote on the champagne served by them, and it is $24 for a bottle of Korbel. Yet I can buy it at a store for $11. Is this ridiculous or normal? It seems like they're bumping up the price a lot to me. Would it be rude to ask them if we could bring our own champagne? It is a small wedding so we won't need too much.

Thanks!

I know this sounds like an odd question - but I'm a bit of an odd (but nice) person. I'm a transgendered person (male to female) who has been asked to be a bridesmaid by my best friend and her fiance. After a lot of worry, I've decided to do it. Often, I present as a woman w/o any problem and shop (and try on) clothes w/o incident. But this sounds different - what's it like? And should I call the shop ahead of time to give them a "heads up"? I'm excited - I really think it will be fun and the bride to be and the other bridesmaids are great w/it - but I'm a little nervous about the shop. Also, should I wear anything special to the fitting - I was thinking about something casual, like jeans and a sweater because I suspect will go out for a drink afterwards. Help, please!

Ok, Me and my Bridesmaids all went shopping together for their dresses. I pretty much let them pick out the dress as long as I liked it to and I picked the color. Well anyway, this is the dress they picked out:

It's a beautiful dress. I like it. What do ya'll think?

Also, since we picked the dresses out, we haven't ordered them yet, but 2 of my bridesmaids have gotten prego. I'm very happy for them. But, is this dress going to look good on a 7 month prego woman? Just asking for them. If they still want this dress it's fine by me. What do ya'll think?

I live in Missouri and I am trying to find a good DJ for my wedding reception. I want a DJ that will make the reception fun and flow nicely. I find it hard to decide on a DJ simply by looking at a website or making phone calls and not actually knowing how they perform. Do you have any tips on finding a DJ or know of any good DJ's in Missouri?

My maid of honor is my best friend. We have been best friends for 13 years and I know she has falts, like being kinda on the selfish side. She's always been like that though, I'm used to it. But I guess I thought that she would at least put her selfishness aside for my wedding. I have asked her, I don't know how many times, to go shopping with me for the wedding and to help me do other things for it. Well, she keeps turning me down. I've got her to do 2 things in the past year to help me. (We've had a long engagement) And it's not like I ask her all the time. I take turns asking the girls to help me and she's the only one to turn me down. I have really thought about telling her that if she can't be there for me and help me then I don't want her to be apart of my wedding. It's driving me crazy. I would do everything I could for her if it was her wedding. Why wont she help me? And would I be wrong for firing her from my wedding?

Maybe I am a Bridezilla... I try not to let them mix as much as possible but I have "helpful" family and friends that don't always do things as I'd normally do them. My mom thought it would be nice for the girls to be with me when I tried on my dress but they were so catty with each other I was miserable and my dress experence wasn't so great. I've made another appointment to go back... alone.

My youngest daughter will be my flower girl, my oldest will be my maid-of-honor. I don't need bridesmaids... I don't need the headache that comes with them.

If it were you, and your best friends couldn't get it together for just a moment or two for one of your most special days... what would you do? Use them or lose them?
