i thought that it was really respectful of you to let them pick out the dresses. its a good thing that they all agreed on it. that is a very pretty dress, however it doesntsay what kind of dress it is. if two are going to be pregnant at the time and that far along, as long as the dress is an a-line dress they will be fine. you cant go wrong with an a-line dress. they look good on everybody. an a-line dress fits at the top but flares out at the waist. and that kind looks good on anybody, big, medium, small, and even pregnant. if the dress is not an a-line dress, you dont want to make anyone feel uncomfortable wearing something they are not going to look good in. out of common courtesy, if the dress is not an a-line, pick one that looks almost exactly to that one. davids bridal will have many similar dresses to that style.

It is a beautiful dress, but it is also one of those dresses that would show each and every bulge, lump, or bump a woman possesses. If your bridesmaids are obviously showing, you all may want to consider a different fabric or color. There are beautiful gowns for the expectant mom that are very similar to the dress you've chosen, but allows for a wider girth (which we experience during pregnancy).
Maybe you could find a similar dress at a bridal store and have your moms-to-be try one on and make their own choice. It would be a shame to order the dresses and then find out that it wasn't the most flattering dress an expectant bridesmaid could wear.
Good luck and may your wedding go off without a hitch! Annie

Davids Bridal has a few maternity dresses that are plain and still come in alot of colors. Look at those. They will DEFINATELY need a "Maternity" dress at 7 months. To get a regular dress altered so they could wear it would be costly and you would lose the design of the dress. It would be cheaper to get one of the plain maternity dresses and have a seamstress bead around the neckline!
I know they picked out the dress you gave the link for but tell them that since this came up you would like to get something that would go with one of the maternity dresses better. They will probably understand. Remember, its YOUR wedding...I didnt ask for feedback on the dresses I had my bridesmaids wear!

I love the dress, very simple and elegant!
I think the dress will look ok on your two bridesmaids who are pregnant. I was in a wedding where there was a bridesmaid who was preggers with Twins! The wedding occurred when she was 6 months along. Our dresses were a similar style except it was off the shoulder and she looked great!
If the two gals mention that they would be uncomfortable in this style, ask the bridal to help you find a dress that is in the same style and color, but would make them more comfortable, but i don't think that it will be necessary.
Best Wishes!

You will have to talk to the people at the bridal shop about this one. This dress may or may not be able to be tailored to a pregnant women. I know how big my belly was when I was pregnant! Pretty dress, but I'm sure if this particular one doesn't work, the bridal shop will be able to help you find one that will. My guess on this particular style is a "no". There seems to be no give in the material. Good luck!

I just think it would be hard to get a size in that for a pregnant woman as the material doesnt look very stretchy and you cant guess how big a pregnant woman will be by then. I like the dress...its nice and plain and simple, but you might want to ask someone at the shop what they would suggest for pregnant women in terms of dresses.

pretty dress. id suggest going with someone other than davids bridal though. i used them for my wedding dress and bridesmaid dresses and they treated us like crap. they lied to my mom saying the dress she wanted was discontinued, yet another store from their chain ordered it for , but shipped it to the wrong place. she eventually got it thought. i ended up with make up on my dress when i went to pick it up, because the "attendents" shoved me in a tiny dressing room, and didnt help me. and no i am not demanding or anything like that. my dress was super heavy (it had lots of pearl and crystal beading on it. they still have it in their catelog), and had a cathedral length train that is hard to manage by yourself. they were just not friendly and not helpful at all. i tell everyone not to use them. i wish i would have gotten my dress at a different store, but it was everything i had always wanted. just be ware. ive talked to others and have had the same treatment.
for your prego bridesmaids, you may want to check with them and ask if anyone pregnant has ever worn this dress and how did it fit them. or find a different style that is made for maternity in the same color.

I really doubt that dress will fit them at 7 months pregnant. I would be looking for maternity dresses for them. David's Bridal has those I do believe. Maybe you can get them a similar dress in the same color... then all is well! Good Luck!

It's very pretty, but I don't see it fitting a pregnant woman! This is a slinky dress for women with cute little bodies.
You should see if you can find a similar dress in a maternity style or with a sash--a sash will usually hide the pregnancy at the wedding or at least flatter the pregnant woman. Also, dresses with empire seams are great for pregnant women!
Very pretty, though!

It's a pretty dress, but will probably not be very flattering on your prego bridesmaids....something w/ an empire waist would look better. Congrats on your wedding, and good luck w/ the dresses!
