Michael's Crafts has their $30 lighted arch on sale this week for $20, at least they do here. It goes together quite easily. Since you will be on the beach you won't be using the lights, but with about 16 yds of tulle...JoAnn's ( or other fabric chain) will start having their sale of 2yds/$1. Weave or wire that to the arch & you have a beautiful focal point for your ceremony.
Here's one with flowers added

I got these glass container things from walmart that are about four inches tall and 8 inches wide (round though). I am putting sand in them with three tea lights in the middle and then seashells spread on top of the sand. The whole thing cost about $6 per centerpiece. Also, I am having betas in a bowl with seashells sprinkled around the bowl on the table for the rest of my centerpieces. I actually got the fish bowls for this at the dollar shop. Just keep things simple. Oh, and then for the cake, you can have the baker put white chocolate seashells on it. I have plenty of pics if you want to see some. Just email me at goaliegirl87@yahoo.com

Use leis instead of boquets, go bare footed instead of wearing expensive shoes.
My mother n law recently got married and I was in charge of everything so for her recepthion I used these cute little tins and put the pretty glass rocks in the bottom and then set a t light candle on top, quick, simple and best of all cheap.

I've been to beach weddings and most of the time there were no real decorations, just a pretty bouquet and the groom. You could do leis on the bridal party or tiki torches, the "aisle" could be flower petals.

At my friend's beach wedding we got simple glass trays, filled them with sand and put votive candles in them for the reception tables. It looked so nice and didn't cost more than a couple bucks at Big Lots.

Fill a basket with sun umbrellas (buy very cheap at oriental trading company)
have baskets of flip flops so your guests dont have to walk in dress shoes.
Decorations keep it simple...instead of hanging flowers from the rows of cermony chairs get large shells and drill a hole in them, string ribbon through and hang from the chairs.
get huricanne chandle holders and push them into the sand to keep them stabalized and line the walk way with them for a sunset ceremony
fill centerpices with different shades of white flowers and surround it with sea glass (buy at a craft store)
keep it simple, keep it natural and have fun
