Where are some good places?

Bed Bath and Beyond is the best b/c they give you cash back. The most important thing is to check where your family lives. I had family from Texas; my fiances family was from up north (Penn and NJ). Make sure you register at places they have. They should have at least 2 places near them.

I registered at Hechts (before it was Macys) and they have stores in PA. But the registry went to all May stores so Texas had Strawbridges or something like that.

If you have anyone from overseas, make sure at least one of your stores put the registry online.

But I agree with BB&Beyond, Target, Crate and Barrel, a department store (Macy's, Belk's). and something that is unique to your husband. He should have something on the list too. Several grooms are registering at some sort of camping store like REI. If a lot of people are local, pick a cute lil local store.

Also, include where you are honeymooning. A lot of destinations offer packages that can be bought. Carnival allows people to put money on your Sail and Sign card (like a sail and sign gift card) or buy one of the packages (Anniversary gift bag). I've heard a lot of resorts do this too.

Typically you should register at about 3 places--
1) A specialty store like Crate & Barrel, Pottery Barn or Willams Sonoma
2) A department store like Macys, Fortunoff or Bloomingdales
3) An all-purpose home store like Target, Bed Bath & Beyond or Linens & Things

If you want, you can always add a high-end place like Tiffany & Co!

Have fun registering!

We loved registry at Target! It was close, they have everything, and it was reasonable for our guests and friends to purchase things for us.
