I was waiting for my fiance' to come home so we can both go to his parents' home to talk about how we didn't want the aunt and uncle to attend the wedding because it was immediate family only. I was wrong... so wrong and I'm glad I thought about the answers to my previous question before we made a very insensitive and shameful move.
My future MIL (as stated in my previous question), wanted her brother and his wife to attend the wedding after I told her whom we wanted to attend. I started to think about my mother and his mother and their similarities because they are just alike. I then realized that their parents are deceased and won't be able to see their grandchildren wed. I think my future MIL wanted 2 ppl to represent her side of the family in place of the grandparents and for that, I do understand.
I will ask my mother to do the same (choose 2 ppl) since she is in the same position, is this a good idea?
