I can't decide the colors for my wedding. The wedding is set for early March and the church carpet and alot of the decorations are almost a royal blue. Any ideas on colors for the bridesmaid dresses and flower color?

Thanks

What do you like? That is what is most important. Sugestions...Sage green bridesmaid dresses with white, pink, and light purple flowers. Or go for something strong...it's still colder time of year you could do deep red dresses with white flowers. Good luck!

I think you should pick the colors you really want and dont worry about the carpet in the church. You will prob. decorate your colors and no one will even notice what the church decorations are like. Maybe they can move them for the day if you ask. Good luck

Sick with shades of blue and white. If you have dark blue bridesmaid's dress have cream flowers, If you have blue, you can use also anything from hot pink, red, white, Yellow. If you go with shades of blue your flower colours could be shades of yellows, whites and creams.
Blue and green should never be seen unless there is a colour in between.

Have fun with everyones ideas.

I agree with the posting so far, but don't limit yourself to only blues. I would suggest using a color wheel to pick colors. Below are some links to help you use a color wheel. Also, I like the idea of choosing flowers based on meaning, so I am including some links to flowers & meainings...If you go with blues, I like forget-me-nots.

For the dresses maybe silver and a medium to light blue. Flowers maybe depicting the seasonal colors, maybe light yellows, pinks, something light and not too bright that would go with blue.

if you want to incooperate the royal blue nicely into your colour scheme (doesnt have to be in the rest of your wedding), these are colours that would look amazing with royal blue:

~ powder blue, mid green and sea green
~ french navy, deep burgundy and pale beige
~ jade, eau de nil and mustard

rich jewel colours will look great with it such as deep purple and deep green..

have a lovely wedding x

I think that baby, soft blue and warm beige go nicely with royal blue.

My wedding is next month, the place is mostly blue also, and I chose lavander and gold.

you should use white flowers because they would stand out and it would just look very nice. for brides maids dresses you could pick a light color like a lavender or pale blue or silver whatever colors you like try to incorporate them.

ITA with the first three people. I think you should use gold an accent color that would be so pretty for a spring wedding.

A combination of dark blue, light blue and greenish blue. They will add variety and life to a dark blue.
