Also I need help with decorating. I'm trying to choose between roses, heart, and butterflies to go with bubbles. I don't know which would look better.

There are so many colors that go with emerald green! My favorite color! Try a celedon with a fushia pink to really jazz it up! For FABULOUS decor for your wedding, go to www.lcdecor.com! Make sure you check out the accessories packs there. If you are looking for what would go best with bubbles...hearts and roses....

Emerald and ivory.
As far as the decor is depends when your wedding is, where it will be (inside/outside), time of day, if it's formal or casual.

But If I had to pick anyway based on the info given...I'd say ivory colored roses to balance out the emerald.

*As far as the emerald and gold people are saying...It says "1970s throwback" or "prom"...but that's just my opinion. I think emerald is a strong color and it really needs a neutral to balance it out.
Emerald and gold do look nice together...but not for a classy event like a wedding and definately not for the decor.

I attended a wedding where the bride wore an emerald green, Velvet, gown with white lace accent. Every thing was green and white. She was very beautiful and I must say, that was the most beautiful gown I have ever seen. Celtic was the theme music. Very elegant wedding.

Here are your butterflies, too.

If it's a spring wedding, try to get him to change his mind. Dark colors are generally a no-no for spring.

If it's a summer wedding, pair it with beige or white. You can get the groomsmen beige tuxedos with emerald ties, that would look sharp.

If it's a fall wedding, go with emerald and bronze. It's a bright, unusual combination that works well, especially for an evening ceremony.

If it's a winter wedding, your options are endless. I would pair it with white or silver for that crisp look.

emerald green is a lovely colour.. here are the colours my colour bible says it goes with hehe:

~ powder blue, french navy and sea green (b)
~ sea green, dark purple and dirty mustard (b)
~ dark olive, steel blue and light orange (r - in orange)
~ dark lime, dark aqua and deep purple (i love this one!) (h - in purple)
~ lime green, turquoise and french navy (b)
~ sea green, bright green and aqua (b)
~ lavender, dirty pink and olive (r or h)
~ bubblegum (pink), purple and orange (r)

i hope this helps!

what i would do first is choose your colour scheme to go with the emerald.. then choose you theme.. roses are very classy, hearts are fun but more tacky and butterflies only look good if you're releasing them!

next to each colour scheme i have put which i think will look best either (r) for roses, (h) for hearts or (b) for butterflies..

have a lovely wedding x

You could use a very light, pastel minty green along with the original green. It will add a touch of femininity and lightness.
