Depending on where you are go to Kay's or Kessler's Diamond Center. But make sure you actually go to a diamond store not a department store. Diamond stores have much better quality. You may pay a little more but it will last a life time.

If you live anywhere near New York. go to the diamond district on 57th street!! But you must have a little knowledge about diamonds so you do not get ripped off.. that goes for any place you go too! good luck!

I would stay away from the "chain" type jewelers and go with a reputable hometown jewelry store.
