No, unless you are made of money. Call a local hotel (nice but not too expensive) and talk to the sales department. If you book enough rooms, they usually give a discount. What would be nice however, is to put together a gift bag with info on local things to do.

No, you are not expected to pay for their lodging. Like other's have said you should call a local nice hotel and ask about group rates. Try to reserve a block of rooms and let your guests know about the prices. It would be nice to place a fruit basket in the rooms of your guests.

Not at all. You can arrange a block of rooms at a local hotel and negotiate a reduced rate but you are definitely not expected to pay for the room.

No.
If you have room & don't mind---and they are close enough--you could offer a guest room.
But if many are coming, reserve a bunch of rooms at a nearby hotel/motel-----guests usually get a discount if you tell the management it's for a wedding.

Nope. As a courtesy, however, you may wish to reserve a block of hotel rooms so that they won't have to go through the hassle of trying to find someplace to stay.

You certainly aren't required too and guests typically don't expect you too but if you are having an over the top lavish affair and can afford too...why not? Otherwise...NO WAY
