I have a mermaid style wedding dress and plan on doing my hair like a 40' s starlet style. I'm not sure if I should use an elbow length veil or a finger tip length veil. Its an outside, garden wedding in June. Thanks!

Neither I or my future husband are religous people, our parent's places aren't really conducive to a wedding either. I thought about Vegas, but I don't want to just rent a chapel for an hour. i honestly don't know many good places to get married besides a church or a park or something. His family lives in Oregon, mine in ohio, But we live in colorado, we haven't decided on either location yet, we really just want the perfect spot, no matter where it be in those two states. Help me out please!

I have been engaged to my fiance for over a year but we have been together for 4 years, we have broken up and went our seperate ways 2 or 3 times, but always managed to get back together. I just recently set a date and told my whole family, and friends. But just recently I met this amazing guy, who seems almost prefect for me, its making me crazy! He seems to have all the qualities I want in a man, the qualities my fiance doesn't seem to have at all. I don't know what to do, I think about this other guy a lot, and even see our future to be better than it would be if I married my fiance. Any advice?!

I understand it is "bad form" to ask for any kind of present - but i have all i need for the house so 20 toasters really wont help. I want to put someting so people dont feel obliged to give anything - but to give them a point in the right direction if they chose to do so.

My dtr is getting married in July, I had a lady telll me to have people dance with the bride and groom for a dollar and to have a money tree. I have not ever heard of this! I do not need help paying for the wedding nor does my dtr or her hubbie to be need help with the honeymoon, which the lady says its for. My question is have you ever heard of this? I told the lady I did not feel this is right for us to have and she says it is all the rage! My thought is its a celebration for my dtr and hubbie we want to share with friends, not ask for money!

I need a cheap wedding favor to give at my wedding. I thought to give business card shaped magnets to each guest. The magnet would be decorated like our theme and would say our names, a saying, and our wedding date.
My fiance said it was a dumb favor. He said people are going to think we are really really cheap and what are ppl gonna do with a dumb magnet. I liked it cuz it is useful, not something u just throw away or lose. If i got a magnet, i would put it up on my fridge.

What do you all think. It is really a tacky gift as he said?

My daughter is getting married and we need a song for the daughter/father dance. We've found several from a father to his daughter like "Butterfly Kisses" but we need one from a daughter to her dad.
Anybody know of any good songs that would fit that category?
Thanks

Ok, the groom tux will be ivory with a Palm Beach Coral Vest (Similar to Burnt Orange) The groomsmen tuxes will be ivory with Harinbone Copal Vest (similar to a chocolate brown). I'm considering my gown to be the same color as the groom's vest. (What do you think about that?) Also, should my bridemaids dresses be the same color as the groomsmen vest, or what? I've never color coordinated a wedding, so I'm completely clueless. Please Help!!!

Just because the man will be rich and your family poor, so by forcing her into that marriage will it solve all your problems or you will be creating more to your family.

Why bother asking a question about ettiquette?

They dont really care if they look tacky or not, they find the one person who tells them what they want to hear and run with that, even though 25 other posts say its in really poor tatse. Why did they even bother asking if they truly arent interested in the answer?

Am I the only one this annoys?

How many of you wore pearls for your wedding?

Also, would it be fitting to wear ivory pearls with a champagne colored dress? Would gold jewelry be more appropriate?

If you wore a strapless gown, what sort of jewelry did you wear? (necklace or none?) (long earrings or short?) (bracelet or no?)

Also, did you wear gloves if you had a fingertip or longer veil?

After choosing your dress, did you show everything to everyone, or keep it to yourself and surprise them on your walk down the aisle? If you didn't show, did you describe?

Ok, if I cannot, or do not want to, put a block on sites where I charge, how does this sound? Ok, there must be single granddads out there who want single grannys, right? Ok, so can't you please send your granddad OR somebody elses granddad? How about just any old man on a banana peel so I can spend money? A rich man is a must. Although, you must note, I am not greedy nor want to marry for money, do you think? So, can you help?

I would like to stock bridesmaid dresses for girls up to 12 years in my shop. I would like to know if you had bridesmaids or your daughter was one, what colour dress she wore, whether ivory or white or another colour so I can work out what is most popular and stock accordingly. Many thanks!
