My fiance and I have planned a tenative wedding date of May 19, 07. I would like to compose a list of 10 really good questions to have him answer to make sure this is something that he wants as much as I do. But I'm stuck... I want the questions to have multiple choice like answer. I have 1 question so far:

When a couple gets married, what is the groom suppose to do?
a. Run like hell!
b. Hang himself because he just ended his life.
c. Depart from family and became one with wife.
d. Lay down the rules of the house.

The correct answer is C. It's located in the Bible. All the questions doesn't have to come from the Bible or be religious based. Just something that questions morals, values, trust, respect, committment..etc. Any suggestions, would be great!!! Thanks in advance! :)

I was married recently. It didn't turn out the way I wished it would have especially since I had no help. (My mom was married in city hall). Does any else out there think that a wedding is too expensive/complicated. I should have just went to City Hall!! Has anyone gone through this bad experience and if so did you have another wedding later down the road or did something else special. I can't stop regretting. I'm happily married but embarrassed.

Me I would like to have a nice simple wedding like in my parents back yard and have the reception in a modest banquet hall. I would want to save the rest of the money for a honeymoon or a house.

My brother and sister in law are planning their wedding and my sister in law has 4 sisters, none of which she will allow to be bridesmaids because they are on the chunky side (sizes 12 through 16?) and she is rail-thin. Her sisters really wanted to be included in the wedding but she instead chose her close friends from high school who are as skinny as she is (about a size zero) She showed me the bridesmaid's dresses she picked, they were two-piece middriff showing little pink numbers, revealing but cute. Then she asked me what I thought of them, and I honestly told her that I thought it was inconsiderate of her not to allow her sisters to be a part of her wedding. She then told me that she had picked out those dresses before she was going to marry my brother and she had to find someone who would fit in them. I was sitting there thinking she is so materialistc and is going to bleed my brother dry. Now she hasn't spoken to me since and it's been a month.

I have not spoken to my father in 3 yrs. The 1,000 times we have ever talked was because I contacted him. We live in the same state but I will be getting married away. Our past very much bothers me still, so I am unsure if I should invite him. I just don't want to invite him and I never get a response, whether he accepts the invite or not, because then that will cause much more negativity that I hold for him, should i even bother?

My boyfriend is currently working on his Masters degree in the UK and planning to come to Canada on a student visa later in the summer. I reside in Toronto, Ontario and am a Canadian citizen. He is not a Canadian citizen. We have been talking about marriage and the different types of ceremonies, i.e. civil, church, and traditional like here he is from in Nigeria. Is it possible to have a civil union ( having a judge or justice of the peace perform the ceremony) and still have a church wedding later?

I was looking for a romantic place for us to go out to eat, so I found this place and he stated "We go out to eat here all the time" implying people from work. This place was all candle light, and mostly couples were in there. So after we were done eating there I saw a little bar across the street and suggested us to go there to dance a little he stated he wont like that place its just a little hole in the wall I said so lets go....and he said no that bar I been there a couple of time after work and you wouldnt like it. so we didnt go because he wouldnt. when I later looked that place up online it seemed to have good reviews and I told him that and he told me to forget about that place and stormed off to bed.
We have been married for ten years, and he has lied in the past, what you guys think.

I was ordained some time ago, and I have done weddings for friends and several other couples in the area. Since I live in a college town, a lot of couples are not affiliated with a church and do not want to have to go to the courthouse to get married, which is only M-F at certain times. So, there is a great need in my community for marriage officiants who will travel and perform ceremonies. Now that business is picking up, I am thinking I should get a business card, but I need a cute name for the business. I ONLY do the ceremony. I don't do any other type of planning. I saw one online that I liked: Rev on the Run...but obviously it's taken, so any ideas would be appreciated. I am simply a minister who will do a ceremony either religious or not..in the location of their choice on the day they choose. It can be intimate or a bigger group. Any ideas???

My fiance and I are writing up the program to our ceremony. I know in the wedding invitation, traditionally, the female's name goes first. But when you just name the couple, like in the ceremony program, or naming other couples (like the bridal party or even naming husbands and wives in the program) whose name goes first? Is it "Eric & Sue" or "Sue & Eric" or "Sue & Eric Anderson" or "Eric & Sue Anderson"?? My fiance and I are confused about what is traditional???
