Take her to her favorite place, the place where you first met. Or her favorite place as a child. Give her the gift there.
Maybe give her 20, small gifts, and tell her that these are for each year you brought me so much joy, and love. They could be funny things you experienced together through the years. Like a picture of you, and her doing something funny, or exciting. Put it in a frame. Another example of a gift, could be a gift certificate from a place she always wanted to shop at, but never did. She could order something from their. You can come up with different ideas.
Take her for a second honeymoon, a weekend getaway at a hotel, or an Inn.
Put 20 flowers in a vase, or Rose petals on the bed, and decorate the room. When she walks in the room, she will like the gifts, and thoughts put into it.
If these are not feasible, then just cook her a good meal, light some candles, play some soft music, dance with her, and treat her right all night long.

Renew your wedding vows, a nice intimate ceremony with the two of you, your children and the closest friends and family...it could be as simple as a backyard bar-b-que. Or if not take her to a nice candlelit dinner, present her with an anniversary ring, when u get home have the place lit with candles and place roses and have a little cake or teddy bear saying happy anniversary or something like that then enjoy the rest of ur night together...oh some really nice love songs playing in the background too.

I can only hope my hubby puts this much thought into it when its our 20th hehe..what a good hubby you are hehe!
I would find out what her fantasy of romance is (maybe you know). weather it be a horse drawn carriage, a night in a limo like a star, opera, beach on a starry night with a bonfire and wine, etc and do that to the best of your ablities.

Book a cruise to the Bahammas out of Miami...amazingly cheap and a real blast. Just a 3-4 day deal...no major "vacation".
