Call the courthouse and ask them.

You go to the courthouse make sure you both have a picture ID. You'll have to call first and see how much the fee is for the marriage certificate. Make sure you have your rings. Now some courts will give you numbers to a justice of the peace to marry you. So once you have the certificate in hand call the numbers get their fees and see if they are available that day to marry you. It really doesn't take long at all they ask questions at the courthouse and you have to fill out an application. Then you get your witness to be present when the marriage is officiated. I wish you luck and I hope this information helps you. I just paid for my sister to have a court wedding in Jan 06. The same rules should apply.

It's your right to arrange your wedding ceremony as you see fit. But you might find that a courthouse wedding is too rushed and that you might want to enjoy a little bit more time for a ceremony. You could have the wedding at a friend's home. If you belong to a church, you might be able to hold the wedding at the church (most churches don't charge their members for a wedding). In some cities, there are limits to the # of guests (sometimes the limit is only 6 ppl).

Go to the court house marriage licenses, they will tell you what to do. If you can wait a couple of weeks, Valentine's Day at the courthouse is a sure fire way to get into the press.

When you go for your paper work, ask the clerk which judge does weddings and set the time , date, up with the JUDGES clerk. (not all judges will marry people and they like to do it AFTER hours on Fri's if possible.)

When u go to the courthouse to apply for the licence, they
give u all the information u need, they usually do them on Fridays.
Your licence is usually only good for one month. So u have to
