How many of you wore pearls for your wedding?
Also, would it be fitting to wear ivory pearls with a champagne colored dress? Would gold jewelry be more appropriate?

Pearls are gorgeous and i find any excuse to wear them, anytime. I wore pearls for my wedding and i tell you there is something to be said for a woman who chooses to wear pearls. Do it, do it, do it. Wear them. lol.

I really like the idea of wearing pearls instead of the same old gold that everyone else seems to wear. As a matter of fact, I am wearing a simple strand of pearls on my wedding day in August. I also think that diamonds look breath taking with pearls. They offset each other beautifully. With your dress, the shimmer of pearls would compliment the champagne color perfectly. Have you ever heard the Prince song "Diamonds and Pearls"? Well, there ya go...LOL

My mom is giving me her pearl necklace for my wedding. I've always loved pearls.
They look classy and elegant.
Especially ivory pearls on a champagne dress.
Gold jewelery is nice but pearls are nicer :)

I am going to be wearing a single strand of pearls on my wedding day along with pearl earrings. Nothing more or less. I think it's timeless, perfect.
And yep those ivory pearls sound like they'd match well with your dress!

I think the ivory pearls would look beautiful. I plan to wear pearls to my September wedding.

I always heard that wearing pearls on your wedding day brought bad luck... but that's a question of superstition. I wore diamond studs and a diamond pendant that a jeweller friend made just for that special day.

I did not wear any jewelry, except for the ring. I think the pearls would look very classy.

Pearls are classic. The Lore of them signifies Eternity, what would be nicer than to wear something that would say eternal love on your wedding day.

I vote for Pearls, they go with everything!! I just wore them for my engagement photos and they looked fabulous in the pictures.
Something so elegant about them.

i think gold would be more appropriate thats just from my point of few i just have always liked gold not pearls.
