My Wife and I had the same problem, as I'm sure everyone that are or will be married soon had or has.
we just sat down on a few nights and went through our cd collection, and narrowed down all the slow stuff that we both liked, we ended up with Amazed by Lonestar. I tried for November Rain by Guns and Roses, and even suggested an Iron Maiden Song Called Bring your Daughter to the slaughter.
Go for a song that you both like and Possibly already means something to the both of you, but keep it easy for your Friend to sing, as you don't want them to murder what will be your song.
Good luck on the big day

Both of you should agree to what the other one wants, if you don't compromise on such a little thing what chance is there for a happy future? Then toss a coin and the winner decides the song. Or perhaps after the compromise you choose a song that none of the two of you had thought about.

Have two! Most people have two songs now so get round it that way. If you dont mind then let your husband choose the first then you choose the second. Its not important, the important thing is you can compromise to make eachother happy on the day and for the rest of your life. Have a really lovely day x

pure silence.
oh yeh its a bad idea to ask a friend to sing at a wedding.. because in the future when it comes to talking about the wedding, the limelight will be on your friend and not you. It will be like that throughout the wedding ,,, very bad idea.
