I'm getting married in June. I don't know what's wrong, but I feel like it's not gonna happen. My fiancee is not giving me any wrong vibes, I just feel like I'm not gonna get married. My dad has two sisters (56 & 44) and neither is married. I'll be the first grand daughter to get married. I'm really stressed out behind this, is this normal? It's to the point where I wanna go to the courthouse but I don't want to cheat myself of the nice wedding I deserve. HELP!!

They have both been living on their own for a while - so they don't necessarily need "basics" but know they know that a registry is expected. She suggested a "house downpayment" registry. They will have friends and family from all over the US.

I am very fortunate to have a beautiful platinum wedding set. My center stone is 1.75 radiant cut color e great quality. My engagement ring is nice as well. But I'd really like a new center stone. How do I tell him w/o seeming like a gold digging, selfish wench? We've been married for 7 years, he told me after 5 we would upgrade. I want to upgrade. I have a bunch of kids, stay at home w them, shop for my clothes @ costco. Besides my diamond earrings, these are the only pieces I have. Be honest-- I mean do you love your ring or would you like to change it if you could afford it?

I actually just started my registery, china and glasses... that type of stuff that's not seasonal. I am not getting married till Nov 3 2007 so I won't put linens and towels on there until March.... I know a couple of my family and bridemaids ask if they could buy us Christmas stuff of the registery which I though was a great idea!! So today, I remembered that we need an ice bucket and to my surprise someone bought my GRAVY BOAT..... and I can't tell you how exicted I am.... I know I am silly!
But it made me think about Do you stop looking at your registery when the wedding gets closer?? or should you keep checking on it to make sure there is enought stuff on there??
Any suggestions??

we have 4 beautifull children and we have 6 years together. we cant wait to get married. we dont have much money as we have alot of expenses as you can imagine with 4 kids, rent, and everything. we realy are ready and we dont want to wait forever so with about $3,000 we want to know what we can do? is it possible to have a decent wedding on that small of a budget?

I'm trying to find a cheap but beautiful dress for my courthouse wedding. I don't want it to be a big ballgown because we will have the ceremony about 2 years later so i will wear a ballgown then.
Now i'm looking for an informal wedding dress.
It doesn't really have to be a wedding dress though, maybe just plain beautiful (but not too expensive).
I wanted it to be either cream, champagne or ivory (NOT white).

I'm going to get married at the local courthouse. My parents are not able to attend. We'll have a big ceremony about a year or two later just so my family can be there too.
Since it will just be close friends and family who's gonna walk me down the aisle? My fiance's dad won't be able to be there either. Can my mother-in-law do it? Or my male bridesmaid?
What do you think?
