so i guess this means that they haven't met him yet? OH BOY..

I don;t think there is a easy way...but the best thing is to have then over for dinner and tell them... i wouldn't go out to do it cause you never know what their reactions will be and if they aren't;'t to happy about it then they can at least tell you... and there is no seen and no one gets embarrassed....

Now it could go great and they might love the fact that ur growing up and ready to take the next step in life .... or they could be shocked and not happy about it... so keep in mind that u should prepare ur selves for bot situations and that way ur feelings won't get overly hurt.

Good luck

the different posters are superb, this is how lives get ruined. You bypass to a miles off places usa with a guy which you do no longer likely understand that nicely, to stay with him continually? and you're only 20? living in a miles off places usa at 20 sounds super. Marrying a guy you infrequently understand there appears like a adverse concept. bypass stay with him for a at the same time as in case you like, yet NO childrens, and NO marriage. then you definitely'll understand if that existence is stable and risk-free for you.

Okay well first of all you should have introduced her or him when you were just dating, but anyway.... I think the best way to do it is at a restruant so its not awkward or anything. Everyone can feel comfortable and have a good time. GL

I assume you lived far apart from your Parents. Just make sure your fiance is ready to meat your Parents. She might feel more uncomtable then you think. And I guess if you know Your Parents better then me, you'll figure that one out.

Have him pull in your driveway in an old Camaro blasting Van Halen or Queen wearing a dirty t-shirt and holy jeans and smoking a cigarette. Introduce him as Snake or Axle or Killer. That should give a good first impression.

I'm guessing by the question that they don't know you're engaged let alone the guy/ girl then maybe you need to start out with, "Hey mom and dad I've got this great guy/girl...." let them meet him then kinda go from there. If they have not ever met this guy then to just spring it on them that he's gonna be your hubby/wife might be too much to handle, I'd honestly start with them just meeting, and go from there.

I think you should take them to dinner and make the engagement announcement there.

Why haven't your parents met your fiance yet??

Go very casual, something like bowling or a very laid back meal in a restaraunt. Don't do it at your place or your parents because it gives one side an upperhand. The key is to keep it even and fun.

Wait they have never met this person as your girlfriend/boyfriend? Well if they have not then I would say take everyone out to dinner and tell then you have an annocement to make. I am sure they will be very excited to hear you have found what they already have.
