Weddings - December 2006

My fiance and I are getting married at the Courthouse in January 2007. He has been married 1x before. I was enagaged to be married before and I have a wedding dress that never has been worn. My fiance told me I could wear the dress when we did get married cause my deceased mom seen it and she loved it. We have one child togeather. I'm not sure if I should just wear the dress or should i wear something else? Please help!!!

My boyfriend and I have been together for well over a year now. He is always talking about how much he lvoes me and how much he wants to spend the rest of his life with me. We'ew even started talking about how we would raise kids together and what we would name them and all the stuff! He's said he wants to marry me one day and even took me to a few jewlery stores to see if I like and RINGS! he had them size my RING FINGER and everything! he picked out this gorgeous ring and had my opinion on it. It was HUGE! ( like 4.5 or 5 carets) I told him that was too much for me, but he said " I'm just getting a gernal idea of what I want to get you for when I do propose."
When do you thin khe is going to do it? Soon?

Im 16, yes I know, too young to get married, but exclude that though. I just want people's honest opinions on this.

howabout this...my boyfriend has been dropping hints about how he can see us married..he already asked me to marry him "unofficially" but said he wanted another chance to do it right...and ive been with him about a year and we knew eachother long before....we will be living together sometime in february and my birthday is next month and he said he was going to surprise me...majorly...his mom and i are close and she said that my birthday would be special and i might cry. okay..now ive had too many hints and i dont know what to think..we've talked about how serious we were and how we both didnt want to be married until our mid twenties.. i love him and he is the best thing that has ever happened to me...but ive got a few more years..need to finish college first!does anyone out there know what is going on>?

We are going to have an informal ceremony of about 15 people either at my church, a wedding chapel, or the courthouse. I don't know what I should wear. I have seen some nice black dresses and I kind of don't want to wear the off white or beige. Some have been telling me it is inappropriate to wear black but I thought black was considered formal. My fiance is wearing black pants, white shirt and a tie. I want to look nice but it is informal. Some one help!!..(oh yeah it is in January)

We have several people that want us to have a cash bar at my Dtrs wedding reception. I am not sure of how this works. Is it acceptiable. We are having a sit down dinner along with beer and champane. But, I have had some requests for mixed drinks. Which I am not going to be able to afford with 200+ guests. If anyone knows the proper way to do this let me know. Do you include it on the invitations or make a seperate insert for this and who does this kind of thing? Is it even proper? Thanks for your help.

I just had my baby girl and my husband and I are so inlove with her. We live in a beautiful home out in the counrty, he has a good paying job and I'm going to start working part time as a waitress in a few months. But I don't know what I should do about my daughter Grace. I want her to grow-up in a loveing careing family. But I'm a little afraid on how I should raise her. I'm afraid that I'll do what my parents did and take controle of her life with knowing. I want her to be able to make her choices when she's older. My husband says that I'm over reacting, which I most likely am, but still. Does anyone have any addvice I can us some right about now. PLease........

My friend has become very distant, mean, rude to others in my bridal party and to my finace. We all used to be great friends but in the past 3 months, the friendship has started to dissolve.
