The money is not for me as the hostess...I plan on paying for the supplies, food etc but the goal here is to raise some $$$ for the groom and his bride.

You can recycle an old tradition of a money tree. I haven't seen one in years, but they used to be at nearly every wedding I attended as a kid. Basically its just a cone shaped metal frame with little holders that you can put money in. The same concept is now very popular to hold Christmas cards or photos. At the Bachelor party you could put one of those out with a cute poem or phrase talking about "giving to the cause" or something.

Another idea is to make a list of dares and/or challenges. Then assign a dollar amount to each one. Basically, the darer would give the assigned dollar amount and then the bachelor would have to complete the task. For example, $1--Bachelor has to stand on a chair and listen while the darer tells a funny/embarrassing story. $2--Bachelor has to do a shot. $5--Bachelor has to ask a complete stranger for a condom. You know, the typical things that are going to happen on a Bachelor party anyway...just make it a fun "game" instead. Everyone will enjoy the show--and the new Bride and Groom will get a little extra cash to boot.

Get as many of your friends together and hold a "car wash". $10.00 to wash the outside; $10.00 to clean the inside. And if you and your friends are nice enough, they may leave tips. Be sure to have some good music playing. LOL While the car wash is going on, someone else could 'sale fresh cold lemonade or serve cold drinks......$1.00 per cup (has to be a decent size)
......you can purchase fairly cheap soda at the store (generic brand).....nobody has to know what brand it is. And when people are thirsty enough.....it won't matter. ya feel me??

Another idea........Bar-B-Q Plate Lunches. $5.00 each. Choose a date, time and place and make a flyer to announce when and where people could come and pick it up at. Throw some meat on the pit, make some potatoe salad, rice dressing and some vegetable side - like corn, sweet peas or whatever. Once people start smelling that pit being lit up, the mouths will start watering up. LOL

Where I'm from, people here do that all the time to raise money for various reasons. One girl's house caught on fire and her and her 3 small children had nothing left. After a 'plate-lunch' dinner, she had over $3,000.00 afterwards. Good luck.

You can tape on life saver to a t-shirt and have people suck them off the shirt for a certain amount. The closer they get to a "naughty" place, the more money.

If you're hosting the party then you should pay. It's so tacky to ask your guests to pay for a party they've been invited to.
