You should wear a slip...made for the style of your dress. You may want a real full slip or maybe an a-line style will be better for your dress style. Then your choice of undies is totally up to you!! Be creative...it's your day! You can find the slip at any professional bridal store. Please don't forget to shop for the right kind of bra....I lean toward the long line bras....they pull you and and put you right where you need to be. Proper undergarments are a must for your gown to have it's proper fit.

A slip would avoid the see-through problems, if any.
The photography of the bride's garter being removed should be considered if that will be done. While standing, put one foot on a chair and see what's visible under the dress.
I did read a humorous story where the groom scooted up under the bride's dress and pulled out all sorts of objects that were passed to him by the best man, before finally retrieving the garter. Wedding receptions are not immune to some stunts, so be well covered in case someone gets some wild ideas too.
The bride was seated in a chair at the time and the box slid in from the back.
Congratulations and best wishes.

Well, a slip is a good start. A very good one. Just a basic white one will do, of course. Then underwear, duh.
Pretty picky with bras. They can look pretty awkward under a wedding dress, if not the right one. Spend a lot of time looking, and if the wedding dress is thin, then, avoid underwire.
Victoria's Secret carries this new Ipex one that gives pretty good coverage and support with a wire. Seamless.
Do take effort to avoid fancy and sensual things. A big no-no.
Try and keep it light and basic, and good luck!

Depends upon the bodice and skirt style. Mine was a traditional gown, so I had to find a full, long slip and bra to wear under. If you have a strapless, you need to find a good, standup bra, then a long half slip. - depends on the fabric, too. Mine was heavy bridal satin.

Whatever you want. How is what is under your dress anyone's business anyhow?
If you were dressing up for another formal occasion, what would you wear? Same thing. (Then some brides add a decorative garter but I personally think those are ridiculous.)

Depending on your dress you may need a bridal bra and I suggest COMFORTABLE undergarments. You don't want to be dealing any "issues" and fidgeting during your ceremony. Also you want to be sure you move freely while dancing without causing any undergarment issues.
Best Wishes!

Depends on your dress. Like with mine... I am having the bra cups sewn into my dress. So no bra. But panties and panty hose is about it. Get some sexy panties and give him a peek during the garter dance!

I wore bikini panties, thigh highs with garter and belt, and a bustier. All white.
