She says she is inviting a "few" close friends, family, and the bridal party. I went on for about an hour telling her that 26 people is too many, and that it is going to be hard to keep tabs on everyone. She said well not everyone is going to come. I told her she should invite only the people who she knows is going to come for sure. I told her that the party is really only meant for close friends and the bridal party, usually about 10-12 people. I am the one that is supposed to be paying for everything after dinner, but I have no idea what I am going to plan for everyone with that many people. I am not made out of money. I told her that she said I should plan a party for about 10 people, then she tells me 26, that is a birthday party. What should I do? Help me please.

If I put my bridesmaids in red dresses and use red flowers (calla lilies, roses etc) will that be too much red? Our other colors are silver and blue. If it is too much red, what should I use for colors in my flowers?

Lets say that you were originally going to be married next year, but you and your fiance (for various reasons) pushed it to the FOLLOWING year. When do you begin planning for it? I mean, how early is too early to get everything together, and is it a waste of time letting everyone know now?

My sister is getting married and I want to know whether any ladies out there have bought a wedding dress or a bridesmaid dress from a website called bestbridalprices.com. I want to know whether the quality was good, you were satisfied with the colors, etc.

The wedding dress my sister has chosen is
http://www.bestbridalprices.com/index.ph...

It is a lot more cheaper than the retail price at the designer's store, so we are tempted to buy it here.
Also, has anybody that has bought a wedding dress online been able to go to a wedding store that sells that collection and alter your dress there? Do you charge you and how much?

Thanks in advance.

I have finally plucked up the courage to ask my girlfriend to marry me. How do I measure her finger without her getting suspicious.

Obviously I could drug her! but I wondered if there might be an easier way?

Love to hear your thoughts on Wedding Songs, as I am looking for a unique, not original, Wedding Song. This is my SECOND Marriage, my Son is giving me away, as my Parents and Siblings died, almost three years ago.

My son and I are Dancing to "I'll Be in Your Heart" by Phil Collins from Tarzan Disney Movie, since I am unable to dance with my Dad, I will dance with my Son, who is only 10!

But, my Fiancee is the Greatest, he never was married, no children, and a lifesaver, in so many ways! He was blessed by my Dad, to marry me, before he passed, and my Dad also asked him to watch me, as he did my son (He was 7).

I am looking for THAT song, that describes my love and how he saved me and been there for me, through the thick and thin, before he even knew what would happen.

Love ideas, sites, etc. You are all great and THANKS for your ideas! They are greatly appreciated!

What do you also think, of a Memorial Song to my Parents? IDEAS? Thank you!

My fiance and I just spent a wonderful weekend in Charleroi in Brussels for my birthday. The hotel was lovely and the local Irish Bar was absolutely great. We had such a great time there that I mentioned to him that I was thinking of having my hen's party there before the wedding - it would be as cheap as a weekend out in Dublin but a hell of a lot more fun! He agreed with me and said that he was thinking of having his stags' party there also, then he suggested a joint hen's/stag's weekend? I think it is a great idea - we love spending time together and all our friends always get on great so it could end up being an absolute riot of a party (in a good sense). But the few people we have mentioned it to so far look at us as if to say we are crazy - what do you think? Good or bad idea and why?

Attending a wedding for the first time, a little girl whispered
to her mother, "Why is the bride dressed in white?"

"Because white is the color of happiness and today is the
happiest day of her life." Her mother tried to explain, keeping
it simple.

The child thought about this for a moment, then said, "So, why
is the groom wearing black?"
