"You do not HAVE to have sex on your Suhag Raat. You can just as easily make love without penetration. This is like an extended level of foreplay that you can carry on through the entire honeymoon, until that perfect moment when it feels right. The first time for women can be very painful so you must wait till you are both comfortable. A bad experience the first time can leave lasting effects so rushing into it could cause some long term losses if you know what I mean. For both of you."

Dear friend!! Suhag Raat is not rosy as you imagined!!Unless you both have previous experience, it can be a little messy. In tamilnadu, there is a custome calkled "shanti muhurtam" which is normally after a few days of marraige. Now you know what I mean????

If I understand correctly, a Suhag Raat is the same thing as a honeymoon.Traditionally, a married couple would certainly have sexual relations at some point during their honeymoon.
Keep in mind that marriage is forever,so don't try to rush into sex right away.Make sure that your bride is comfortable being close to you, with plenty of hugging and kissing.Things should progress naturally from there, with more passionate kissing and touching. Before you lnow it, you will both be ready.

If both are willing to try it out, then why not? While men mostly just wait for the nod, its the women who are more coy, shy and a bit afraid if this happens to be their first sexual experience with a man. The groom being still relatively unfamiliar is one of the reasons for this. Some brides are however quite open to the idea of sex on 'Suhag Raat' itself. Then there is no problem. However, if she appears to be very scared, its wiser to postpone it for a future date. In the meantime she must be brought into confidence and a bit of physical intimacy through kissing, caressing, fondling etc. Little hints to get her gradually accustomed to the idea of sex. If properly done, she would welcome the idea of actual intercourse in no time. However, its important to be caring and tender the first time, whenever it is. Sex is something to be enjoyed. So mutual consent is a prerequisite here. Force or brutality must be abandoned at all costs.

hi, it depends on persons. But to my knowledge no one will have penetrative sex in nuptial night. They may have oral. Don't get moved by cinemas. Cinemas are fantasies that fool people who watch them. So as some people who have answered this question, first try to understand your partner, get like ans dislikes, find out whether the partner has interest in sex, if it is and that too on the nuptial night, then go for it , other wise, sleep well as you two may be dead tied after all the rituals of marriage.

I think Nena has answer very well b'coz I was also going to tell. Its first time my views matched with something.

I think Sex is not all. Marriage is bond of new relationship. And we have to make strong our relationships not hurt someone with pain to just have pleasure of 5 mins.

But we have to make our bonding which shd remain when we r at old age and we can't bond her with sex but we can bond with dat relationship which we made from the first day of marriage and with the LOVE which got from each other from understanding each oher.

So, i suggest you to clear everything on that nite wat type guy r u????? I mean when u get angry, wat u dislike??? So talk all ur negative points so that she will accept you not everything gud and suddenly she will come to knw abou ur bad nature n she gets upset and there ur bad marriage starts.

So best of Luck 4 ur marriage n think abou this.

You should wait to get to know each other plus I don't know if you done it already or not but you should also get S.T.D. tested before you have sex too.
