My fiance wants our wedding cake to be tres leches, I ask him to explain to me what it tastes like. He cant find the words. Can someone please explain it to me?

It wouldn't be a very good wedding cake. It has to be refrigerated for one, its soggy and drippy as well, so its very messy.
It tastes like a sponge cake that's been dipped in sweetened milk. I don't like it much, but some people do. You can probably find a bakery or supermarket that makes it so you can try it for yourself. But I definitely say it would be a very bad idea for a wedding cake, regardless.

Tastes like Heaven! They don't stay very well, though, so it wouldn't be the best idea for a wedding cake. You should definately try it sometime though. If you are ever in Houston, try Churrascos or Americas (same ownership).

never tried it myself but my fiance and his family love it.why dont you try it.most spanish cake places would sell it
