Whatever you do - don't spend too much money on it. Think small, personal details. Where did you first meet? Your first date? Go there. Propose. Make sure it is in a setting that is personal to you both - bringing back some memories. Take your favourite wine, a blanket, and a couple of glasses (if poss). Good luck. It will be worth it.

my idea of romantic and yours could be two totally different things. I would suggest looking at your relationship and basing the proposal on something that means something to you two as a couple. For example, could you incorporate his hobby or favourite sport? The classic one is having the proposal put up on the score board at a game.

Well done you for taking matters into your own hands!
It's a bit expensive but you can rent a whole pod on the London Eye - with champagne and strawberries. It's not the Eiffel Tower but what can you do? And the view from up there is lovely.

If you are sure he will say yes you have more options as he won't want to look silly or awkward if he says no.
How about a hot air ballon trip, just before at a premier leaugue football game you have bought tickets for, a vistit to a brewery you have arranged

cook him a nice dinner...make up a table with candles and flowers, dim the lights, get the smoochy music on, open a bottle of wine...then pop the question, he may be shocked at first but you never know...he may say yes, depends on how long you have been with him, good luck....I'll be your wedding singer....lol...
