If either is true to their religion, then they would have no interest in each other.

The Christian would know that Bible speaks to not be unequally yoked. What fellowship hath light and darkness.

So if they put their God first, they would not be attracted to each other.

It depends on where you live. I'm in the US, and you can get married at the local courthouse. You specifically say "wedding" instead of marriage, so I would get out the local phone book and see if there is someone who's willing to officiate the service. I'm sorry I don't have a better answer, but this is all I could think of. Congratulations on your upcoming wedding.

Yes, it's totally possible. I know people who have done it.

It takes compromise. It also takes understanding from both families. If you have these, then it's very possible to lead a happily married life. Also, neither one of you need to convert unless you want to. I think that as long as you respect each others beliefs, then you should do just fine.

As for the wedding itself, you can do whatever you want. A mixed ceremony, 2 ceremonies, a non-religious ceremony. There are many different choices.

If you MUST change who you are, then I don't believe that you should be with that person.

i don't see the problem. you would have to mend the two religions together.

you have two options(in my mind):

1.have one ceremony that has parts of each religion in it.

2.you could also do two weddings one after the other. in one you could be in traditional muslim clothing and in the other the traditional christian clothing.

if you have ever watched a wedding story on tlc you would see that a lot of couples are from 2 different religions. if you love each other you can make it work

you could always get married in vegas if you wanted to!

It is but it will be up to the couple to decide what kind of wedding they will have. They might have a dual wedding ceremony so that both parties will be satisfy. Or the bride or the groom will sacrifice their religion and get married with their fiance's religion for the sake of love.

I'm pretty sure Muslims aren't allowed to marry outside their faith. Catholics are also prohibited. Protestant denominations I don't know about, but probably they're required to marry at least other Christians. The couple could be married legally by the Justice of the Peace, but technically, any religious marriage would be invalid, even if said couple could find a priest/minister/whatever who would perform the ceremony.

I read that muslims can marry "people of the book" which includes christians. And you won't need to convert, according to the religion at least. There are many websites you can find that out on.

There might be some people who would prefer if one of you converted.

of course its possible...you can marry anyone you want to. religion has nothing to do with it unless the parent dont like the idea and the kids arent willing to stand up for themselves and so what makes them happy. have any kind of wedding you want to. I got married in a chapel with religion has nothing to do with it.

I am a former Muslim female married to a Jewish man. We had the Rabbi marry us and we did some Muslim traditions.
