How about a piece of jewellry for each of the bridesmaids, an engraved hip flask for your son and a spa gift voucher for your Mum to pamper herself after all of her hard work.

A handwritten note (written on lovely paper) left for them to find at their place setting during the wedding breakfast - telling them why they were picked to support you on your big day and how much they mean to you and your new husband. End the note with something like - 'as pennies are tight because of the wedding, and we didn't want to get you something small, we would love for you and the other bridesmaid/ushers/bestman to join you for a special thank you dinner once you have returned from your honeymoon.
You can then either take them to a restaurant (and pick up the tab) or hold a dinner party in your marital home.
All the best for the wedding and the future.

I've always loved the idea of giving jewelry to the women in the bridal party. It doesn't have to be expensive jewelry either. One wedding I helped organize had the women receiving anklets and then when they were having the wedding pictures taken, they did a shot of the bride with her bridal party with their skirts raised up halway up their leg to show off the anklets. You could do a piece of jewelry for your Mother but I wouldn't necessarily do an anklet.
As for your son, you could do cufflinks, or maybe go away from jewelry with him and get him one of those mugs/beer steins that is engraved with his role for the day. You would have to get a little creative with the wording on that since he isn't the "Father of the Bride". Hope the suggestions help. Best of luck.

How about photos of you with them at special points of your life? Eg with your mum a picture of when you were born / first birthday / day at school with her and possibly the same for your daughters? Or if there is a picture of the 4 of you together do this. Reprints are cheap enough (or you can DIY on your PC), as are frames. It will show them that, although you are moving on to a new life, the past with them is still very important and will always be special to you. There is a place for all of you.
good luck with the big day!
