Should I put a space on the invitations for single guests to bring dates even though i don't know their dates? What about children at the dance? how do I put that they aren't welcome unless they are 16 or older (to serve as DD's) and aren't to drink unless they are 18 or older?

I am currently putting together my wedding guestlist and have a question. I have a cousin that I can not stand but am inviting her parents and 2 brothers. I don't really want her there if I can help it but feel like I have no choice to invite her. Is it so, that I have no choice but to invite her? Or are there any creative ways that could get me out of inviting her?

Curerntly I am holding the degree of B.A in Arts.My age is 31 years.I am working with a multinational organization as Executive Secretary.I have been engaged to my cousin in Saudia but they are not financially secure. After my marriage I will have to go to Saudia leaving behind my career and everything.

Here I see I need to study further because my fiance is not educated and just matric and if I study further I could get a better job in Saudia and could render my services to hold my home and children.

What do you think should I study further or just leave it to God.I am thinking to do Executive MBA.What shold I prefer either Marriage or my Education. If I study further it would require two more years to get a degeree and then my age will be 34 when I will get married. Is this age good enough to have children.

I am a woman in my 30's who's engaged to a wonderful man. We are going to be married next year. My fiance & I are planning our own wedding & spending our own money. We agreed to have a small wedding. But my Mom is insisting on having alot of people at our wedding & she's even telling me who should be my bridesmaids & what I should wear at the wedding. I am of Indian origin my fiance is white. In my cultrue married women aren't supose to be the bridesmades but 3 of my briedsmaids are married. So my mom is telling me that her sisters unmarried daughter should be in my wedding but my cousin is not a good person & I don't want her in my wedding. Now my sis is backing out of being my maid of honer. When my fiance & I had problems I used to talk to her & seek advice. Now my fiance & I no longer fight & we have a healthy relationship. Now my sisters marriage is not all that healthy & she doesn't talk to me much & I even pick a wedding date that suited her's & her kids schedule. I am sad.

I am getting married to a Marine in about a month. We are also having our wedding in June though. We decided to get married by a judge first so that way when it is time for me to move where he is (i cant yet due to college so i have to wait till the end of this school year) the paper work will be taken care of and we will have a place to live. Is it wrong to get married twice? We thought about having the wedding actually be a blessing but i am still wondering if this is acceptable or not. Please help!

And where do the hands go? I've never done this and want everything to be perfect. It's my girlfriend's 20 yr old daughter. I've been more of a father to her than her creep biological father. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!

lol, my soon to be aunt would like pie instead of a traditional wedding cake. I think its a good idea....one reason is because everything else about this wedding is non-traditional. It takes place outside, 10:00 at night and by the pond..its going to be by moonlight and a big bonfire and I'll be playing a guitar softly as she walks down the isle. Its a cookout with a HUGE grill (on the back of a truck) and fireworks later on. Nobody is dressing up except for the bride and groom and after the ceremony they are even changing into their jeans. As you might have guessed already my family is sort of country...lol, ok, VERY country. Its just going to be a big party. What do you think of a wedding like this? Having a pie instead of wedding cake....I personally think its going to be a blast. Thanks for the answers!

My partner and i are planning on getting eloped but he wants to have an engagement party because he has a large family they all know that we are not having a wedding. Is it rude to ask people to pay for their head. We are asking Adults to pay for themselves which include food and drink and my partner and i are paying for the children.

My sister has asked me to sing in her wedding in Dec. I have been looking for a song to sing in her wedding for ages but have run out of ideas! The song i am looking for have to be sing by female, quite modern and not a slow song... so people can dance while i sing.. something similar to "can't fight the moonlight"
Thank you very much!!!!

I just got my wedding pictures back from my photographer this Saturday. Over a month after our wedding. We went to her house to pick them up. They looked good from a distance, we didn't sit and look at them, we just kind of paged through them. She told us we can put them on the computer and change them any way we want to because she gave us pictures on CD and in an album. We got home and looked at the pictures. They are awful!!! They are blurry and the colors are wrong. The black tuxes look green, some of them you can't see people's faces because there is a big blur over them, and the pictures have yellow and red looks to them. My white wedding dress is yellow in most of them. People's skin is red and blotchy and you can barely see their faces. These are on the CDs AND the PRINTS she gave us. I don't know what to do. These are my wedding pictures. It will never happen again. I'm so upset. I've been crying. I should probably sue her, but its not money thats important I want my pictures.

I noticed they have 0.01 auctions and the rings are like 2, 3, or 4 carats...it all sounds "too good to be true" since there are no bidders and it's 1 cent...it's just crazy..would like to get opinions, thoughts, EXPERIENCES :o)
