I am not too sure how much is too much money, but I am giving my girls "Good" Bags with a bunch of stuff in them. I haven't finished yet but I plan to spend about $70 each. So far I put a cute picture frame, and stuff from bath and body. They will love having a bunch of different stuff. You can go to like a hobby store and buy some colored bags (the color of your wedding) and put everything in there of your wedidng color. so if your colors are pink..... put pink lotion, spray. Pick picture frame, pink earings from claires or something. You can really make it original, maybe even pink bubble gum. Be creative.

LOL My wedding is April 21, 2007 too!!! Just a word of advice, I don't know if you have an account with www.theknot.com, but it is the absolute best wedding website I have come across! You can do anything from putting your whole guest list with all of the guests info on there, to finding a wedding dress and/or wedding vendors in your area, to doing your wedding website and sending out newsletters. I am so shocked that they have created such an awesome website for brides to use and it is free!! It has really helped me in the whole planning process, it tells you exactly what you need to be doing this month and you can keep track of payments, and everything... it is probably the thing that has kept me from going crazy with all the wedding details! Anyways, the reason why I was telling you all this is because they have a lot of bridesmaid gifts on there, check out the website below... Congrats with your wedding!!!

From one bride to another...

You could get them jewelry to wear in the wedding - earrings and a matching necklace, or just a pair of really great earrings. There are lots of wedding jewelry websites that aren't too expensive. That's what I got for my my maids/matron, along with a little gift bag with some notecards, a scented candle and some bath stuff. I think I spent $40 each tops.

theres always jewelry.....I have a million bridesmaid necklaces. You can do that, but it won't be particularly interesting! I got mine monogrammed beach towels, my wedding is a month before yours and so its close enough to summer to kinda make sence! I just got them back and they are so cute, and I know I wish I had ordered myself one! I have gotten purses before, that was pretty cool, and I use um, I got my towels from an ebay store called punkydoodle monograham shop, I'll include the link...they had a lot of cool unique ideas like robes, purses, luggage, cover-ups, makeup bags, etc. Also if you do decide to to jewelry, try www.sammoon.com. I am also gettin my girls some earrings cuz the prices there are so affordable, and it's really pretty stuff!

I got my girls nice necklaces that I actually got on sale for $15/piece. (Shhh, don't tell them!) I got them through Lia Sophia jewelry, which if you buy one, you usually get 2 at half price and the least expensive one is the one you pay full price for and the more expensive ones are your half-priced items. Look it up online and see if there is a dealer near you (not sold in stores - they are independent consultants). My girls loved them and one of the girls even wore it as her bridal necklace on her wedding day a few months later!

I gave my girls each a necklace to wear in the wedding, a couple of small things from Bath and Body Works, and a hand painted glass to use at the reception. None of it was especially expensive, and it seemed like they got a lot of stuff. Much more than our guys who only got mugs.

The wedding that I was a bridesmaid in I got a small silver trinket box engraved with my name, maid of honor and the date on it. Below is the site that the bride bought them. You can get them for as inexpensive as $20.00. The bride had put in them the earrings and a faux pearl bracelet in them for us to wear for the wedding. Finding inexpensive jewelry try Claire's. They have tons of choices to choose from. Or go to your local mall department store (J.C Penney, Macy's, Dillard's) to find inexpensive earrings, necklaces, or bracelets for your bridesmaids.

you still have a ways to go, but I got my girls pearl necklaces for them to wear in the wedding. Then I felt like I was cheating them cause it was more what I wanted for them, so I put together a small package with a tote bag and a picture frame, a candle and votive holder and some travel size lotions and things.
