I have a girl friend. I used to flirt with her, move around, have fun (NO SEX except kissings & touches). But i was already engaged to another girl before i started liking this girl. Now i realise that i am in love with this gril and can't think a life without her. Its a difficult situation for me. I am getting married after 1 month. Don't know what to do?
This 2nd girl is my parent's choice, she is also very cute and a good person from a good family and very cultured. I sense her love for me and i guess it is not possible to desclose about my first love to her. She will die.
please help me.

I don't know what went wrong?
This morning i woke up, walked into the bedroom and saw my g/f asleep with our 3 week old daughter resting peacefully beside her.
I stood there for maybe a minute and thought, this is it. this is all i want right here, right now. Both my g/f and i work, i'm a Teacher, and Sara is a web designer. we're not rich, but we are comfortable, and both of us are 31.
We went to college together and have been a couple for 8 years, over the last 2 years we have been talking about marriage.
Today when i saw then sleeping so beautifully, it hit me hard. i don't want anyone else, i have no other need except my beautiful g/f and out gorgeous daughter.
I made my mind up at that point. I went to the Jewelers, and bought a ring. when i got back Sara was up at work, in the study. i went down on 1 knee and asked her to marry me.
I don't know why, but she took a step back, grabbed the car keys and left.
i know it must have been a shock, but did i do something wrong?

i am getting married in two weeks i have not worked on my vows as hard as i should be or could be. don't get me wrong, i do love this woman and want to spend the rest of my life with her. we are having a small civil ceromony ( because that is what we want). i know that the vows come from the heart and are supposed to say the things that mean the most to the author of the vows, but where do i begin, any hints would be appreciated, thanks!!!

As some of you may recall, I recently had a bad experience. I was the MOH in a wedding and ended up giving the bride a pedicure, waited on her and gave her a foot massage at the end of the night.

Taking everyone's advice, I went over to her house recently and confronted her about it. She got very upset and accused me of not being a good friend. I tried to apologize but she would not accept. I felt awful. She is a very good friend. Not knowing what to do, I gave her another foot massage. She stopped crying and became demanding.

Needless to say she bossed me around for the next couple of hours telling me I needed to make things up to her. i did her laundry and cleaned her bathroom. Everyone here is going to think I have no spine, but I felt guilty. I hate seeing people upset and I felt I owed her for making her upset about the wedding.

I would guess that 99% of men would be happy to have a quick Vegas wedding. Women are the ones who demand a fancy elaborate wedding.

Would you marry a man who has no money at all but he has a job now and getting around 2000 a month? He is 33 years old, no children and have never been married before. What I mean would it be the problem for you that he does not have money at all and his own property? Do you think this man is a looser?

what kind of paper is best for invitations? We're making our own invitations. I have a program with premade invitations. I only used them as an idea of what to say by the way. All I need to know is is regular printer paper fine for it, or do I need to find a specific kind of paper to print the invitations on? Thanks in advance for your response (assuming I get a response lol).

We want to send out 2 waves of invites. We are going to send the 1st batch 8 weeks prior with a response requested by 4 weeks prior to the event and then the 2nd batch will go out based on the response from the first 4 weeks prior to the event with a reply requested 2 weeks prior to the event. How can we do this w/out it being tacky?

I got engaged to my wonderful partner last June. We are both very shy and the pressure from his family regaurding wedding plans got to me especially as I grew up in New Zealand and have only been living in his country for two years and have no really support or assets with which to put on a big do. In the end my now husband and I decided to leg it back to a lovely village a few hours away where I had lived and worked for a time for a small xmas eve wedding in the local registery office. Unfortunately there were dis agreements over the arrangments and two days before we were set to get hitched his sister rang us to condemn our wedding and her approval of any further celebrations. We went anyway but told all his family that we had call it off which has deliberated much guilt. Whilest at the same time all my family know and are pleased . So now how do we throw a celebration? I personaly hate the lies but it's so important to my husband that he doesn't rock the family boat.?

OK I'm blown away buy reading some of the wedding questions...what happened to a simple pretty wedding. Why does society put such a price tag on it that it has to be such a huge blowout and people have to break the bank just to pay for a dress that is worn for two hour tops, a reception that, unless someone gets drunk and makes a fool of theirselves no one will remember, and pictures that possibly could turn out like crap...what happened to using money to put a downpayment on a house? I guess I miss the old days where people got married becasue they loved each other and it didn't matter how fancy it was, what is this world coming too and what is it going to be like when my daughter and son are old enough to get married?
