If he would rather go drinking instead of trying to help fix your relationship then you should really take a good look at him and try and figure out if this is what you really want, someone that won't talk when you hit a rough spot. All relationships are worth trying to fix unless you're being abused, then you need to get out as fast as you can! You didn't say if you have any children or not?? In any relationship both partners need to give 100%!! One thing you could do is to just tell him that you both need to talk because our relationship is not what it should be and for it to work we need to sit down and really talk things out and see where we are heading! You could always go and talk to your pastor if you have one and get some counseling. Good luck and I'll be praying for you both!!

Just straight up ask him this question. Find out why he prefers drinking over you. Be careful not to judge him because you don't want to drive him away. But see what he says. Maybe there is something you are doing that drives him away or maybe he just wants a little space. Don't get angry or defensive about his answer. Think about it for awhile and see if its something you two can fix or maybe he is not the one for you. But you gotta talk to him. When you stop talking, paranoia and anger set in, and thats when things really go south.

Based on your name (Daneille87) I would consider you to be young, seeing as I think that 87 stands for 1987 as a birth year. Even if not, I say that any man or "MAN" who wants to drink whether than be with you is not worth it. I say dump the zero and get with a hero!!!

Honey! It's okay to have doubts in a relationship, but there comes a point when doubts get too big, You've reached that point...not move on!! as hard as it may be...GO WITH IT!

did this behavior exist prior to you entering into this relationship? why do you not go drinking with him? sounds more like you are drifted apart rather than drifting. sorry, sounds harsh but relationships should be on the same page, when they are not it is time to stop turning pages, go back to the beginning and re-read the intro...make sure you are in the right book to begin with.

Okay, first thing is first.
do you love him?
do you want things to work out?
if your answer is yes, then tell him straight up how u feel. a relationship is based on respect, comunication. and trust.
now ask hime those questons
and if the answers are different, then i would just say move on.
it is not worth living under...
anyway good luck sweetheart, and remeber a relationship is between two people not just you!

Sounds like he found another girl. The first sign is wanting to spend more time apart.

Ask him if he would care if you went with him. If he wants you to go, then there is a chance to grow back together. If he does not want you to go, chances are there is someone else in the picture. If this be the case, it is time to move on

Try telling him the way you feel and if he is not receptive suggest some time apart. If he leaves, let him go. If he wants to stay, he'll clean up his act.
