A lot of companies specially combine the two, if both are not bought sets that match.

combing the two can go a few ways. Either removing the stone and adding it to wedding, placing engagement ring then wedding ring on same finger or melting the two bands together if match properly to do so.

Contact the company you got your engagement ring from and find some options you and your future husband might like to do.

I know some people who wear their engagement ring as a neckless or place the stone as a neckless. One put the engagment ring up for their child, who passed it on.

Everyone has their own various traditions.

someone just asked that question if you want to find it on the wedding Q and A or search for it above. Wear engagement ring now, left hand on 'ring finger'. Wedding band goes on first at the wedding. Then after the wedding the engagement ring so that the band is closest to your heart.

Wear the engagement ring until you are married. After marriage you should wear bothrings all the time.
They should both be placed on teh left hand (finger next to pinky). THe wedding ring goes on first, then the engagement ring. I was told the reason for this is that the wedding ring should be closer to your heart.

Are you asking on which finger you should wear the ring? Generally, people wear their engagement ring on the ring finger of the left hand (second finger from the left!) And then you wear your wedding band on that finger as well. The truth is you can do whatever you want! I wear my wedding band on one hand and my engagement ring on the other because I don't like how they look together. Your fiance would wear his wedding band on the left ring finger as well.

Traditionally they are worn on the third finger of the left hand. That would be the finger next to your pinky finger.

The engagement ring is worn outside and the wedding ring inside, so that you never remove the wedding ring, even if you take the engagement ring off to wash your hands or whatever.

On your wedding day tradition is that you wear no ring except your wedding ring.

Your husband wears his wedding ring on the same finger you wear yours. Men do not traditionally wear an engagement ring, but if he has something like it, it should go on his right hand. His wedding ring should be worn alone.

This, btw, is tradition in the USA. I know that in Holland, for one example, women wear their wedding ring on the middle finger of the right hand. So it can vary depending on location.

left ring finger then when married the wedding band goes on first then the engagement ring...wedding band on first is to symbolize the wedding band close to your heart. Your partner wears his on same finger. Men usually don't have an engagement ring but some do but it is not in a form of a solitaire as the woman. Can be a pretty band that will match his wedding band. or one that has yours and his birthstones in it...get creative.

Most women wear the engagement ring on the third finger of their left hand. When you get married, you would put your wedding band on first, then your engagement ring overtop of that. The man would wear his wedding ring on the same finger.

i dont think anyone here fully answered your question. your engagement ring goes on the ring finger (next to pinky) on your left hand. when you get married, remove the engagement ring on your wedding day. your wedding band will now replace the engagement ring (same finger on left hand). after that, you can either wear both rings on the left ring finger, or you can wear the engagement ring on your right ring finger. the wedding band stays on the left hand. sometimes the two rings fit together and can be worn together. i prefer separating them.
your fiance will also wear his wedding band on his left ring finger.

on your left hand ring finger (unless you live in Spain in which case it would be the right hand). When you do wed your darling you can wear your wedding ring and your engagement ring but I would suggest just wearing the wedding band so as to not risk damaging your engagement ring. Good luck and (in three months) congratulations....p.s. your fiancee should wear his wedding ring with pride on his left hand ring finger as well.

your ring finger is the 4th finger on your left hand. if you don;t wish to wear 2 rings together, you could wear your engagement on your 3rd finger
