Weddings - October 2006

Im 21 and I want to be married and have kids NOW! In my opinion this is the only thing worth living for. My boyfriend thinks he’s too young to get married ( and he is, 21) but I am ready and I want to marry him. Is this normal? I get so jealous whenever someone tells me they are getting married or are going to have a baby! This cant be normal. HELP ME!
both my boyfriend and i are working, so we have the money,dont get me wrong, he is graduating in december and going to work full time. we live together so bascially its like we're married, but not legally and with no children. this honestly comsumes my every thought ( which is why im talking about it now)
i dont act my age.... i dont enjoy going to bars and clubs. im at work and when im not at work im in school. i come home and i enjoy cooking dinner and cleaning. if i want a drink, i mix on

My colours for my upcomming July wedding will be black red pink and white. My brides maid dresses will be black and the flowers will be red white and light9almost white0 shade of pink. I want a very simple cake, white icing with maybe red flowers on top. Any recomendations for decorations, favors, etc. in those colours?

I know this isn't very personal, but my brother is getting married and I am struggling with what to write. The card itself says pretty much everything. This is what the card says...

So, I think you'll need a bit of background in order to answer this one...

My daughter was born when I was 16. For the first few years of her life, we lived with my parents. I met my husband when my daughter was about 6 months old, and he has been the only Dad she ever knew. She & I moved out of my parents' home shortly before she started kindergarten, and began living as a family with my husband then...We got married when she was seven.

Now, she's getting married. And she says that in her mind, she always saw MY father giving her away.

What do you think about a woman being given away by her grandfather? In particular, when her Dad is sitting in the audience?

Any thoughts on how they might do the job jointly?

Any reasonable suggestions are welcome.

I am planning my wedding - either fall or spring. I am having trouble deciding what colors would look the best. Here are my ideas so far: blue/silver, soft blue/pale yellow, lilac/pale yellow, lilac/silver..I'm looking for feedback. The church has blue/white carpeting and the stairs are red. If you have any other suggestions, that would be great too! Thanks!

1) A Cruise from So. Cal. to Mexico
2) A Cruise in the Bahamas
3) A Trip to Europe (Scotland, England, Paris, Italy)
4) A Trip to Hawaii
5) A Cruise to Glacier Bay Alaska
6) Going to the Bahamas, or another tropical Island location

The trip would be 7-10 days in length and be in March or April of '08.

my wedding colors, I'm trying to figure out if I should put my Maid of Honor in one color and the rest in another, or if I should put an even number of the colors in my wedding party. I have my Maid of Honor and 2 bridesmaids. I was gonna have another bridesmaid, but the woman can't make it to the wedding. What do you all think would look better?

OK. I know I want purple or violet as one of my wedding colors. Normally I pair purple and green, but I don't think it looks right for a wedding. My boyfriend and I have been dating for 4 years. The first two and a half years, we dated long distance, but have lived together for over a year and a half. We have talked about marriage numerous times, and often say things like "oh, at our wedding.. I'd like this or that" or "I want to retire by our 30th wedding anniversary" etc .. But he still hasn't asked me yet. Our relationship is stable, we have little arguements like any couple, but we are relatively normal in that regard. Financially.. We recently spent over 2 grand on a new HDTV, but when I asked about a ring, he said he didn't think we should spend the money right now. I don't understand.. he's 27, so it isn't a matter of being too young. I don't know why he hasn't proposed yet. Any ideas?
