My sister had a small courthouse wedding ceremony. She and her husband made an appointment on the courthouse, and all of us met up there a short even as prior to time. We waited outdoors of a courtroom docket, and then even as the choose/officiant guy were given there, we went in and sat down. The officiant requested my sister and her husband to introduce everyone (we had about 10 kinfolk there), and then he requested if that that they had like all particular vows to be suggested (they did not-they in basic terms needed the classic ones). there became some place of work artwork to signal (witnesses, and so on.), and then he did the favourite repeat-after-me vows. My sister and her husband exchanged earrings, kissed, and then we took a lot of of photos. the entire component became quite effective and sweet. quite, that is not all that different from a church or different fancy wedding ceremony, except without the frills, and with a lot less pressure and planning required.

My husband and i did that very thing, and NO they don't just sign the marriage license. They acutually do have a ceramony, u can invite some close family and friends as witnesses(which u will need). BUT, don't invite to many people, they might frown on that. Each judge is different, so just keep it to a minimum. O, and don't forget, u can have some flowers to hold as well. It's somewhat like a church wedding, just not as fancy. Good Luck to u, and CONGRADULATIONS!!!!!!!!!!!

15-20 minutes, The judge will preside, ask to exchange rings, ask to sign, ask for a witness to sign, ask if you would like to say something (your vows). Sing and done outta there.
Congrats

You are going to go before a judge and be married. They will ask a handful of questions in private. Then you will be married in their chambers.
Don't be scared. Unless you live in West Virgina. There, you are married by a shotgun because one brother impregnated his sister. ;-)
